The motors were still running? Looks like water was pumping out the wet exhausts
Was this John Carlile's chartered boat?
Thank God everyone was safe from the jigstike ,and there were, boats in the area to help 😅😅😅😅😅
Well the Legend certainly paid back a few years back I was on another boat n it was in the evening a big storm hit n it broke off a part of the Legend n took in water . Other boats n Coast Guard came to take the passengers to safety n towed the boat in. The good Lord works in mysterious ways. 🙏🙏🙏 Thank God everyone is safe. We were told of this incident on the return of the trip to SD. ❤
Hard to watch. If i was in the life raft..id be grateful we all got off the ship...but sick to my stomach i lost all my rods and reels. Glad everybody is ok. Good job to the captain and crew !
glad everyone was safe, definitely coulda used two rafts, one for passengers and one for gear.
Excellent job, Captain and Crew getting everyone off saftly!
Fish 1 - People 0...
Bilge pump still working!
Bishop Rock has been gone for decades, there is nothing to hit but the Abalonia and it is too deep.
I remember seeing bishop rock in the 60es had platform and a light on it . Think it's about 3 foot under water on low tide
@@georgewilliams7078 I've spent 43 nights out there in my skiff since '93, it's my favorite destination! The USS Enterprise hit Bishop Rock in '85 and the Navy removed the hazard.
@@loveofsea1 thank-you for the up date about navy removing it. Now that you brought it up think I remember that. Hell old age setting in CRS spent 30 years harpooning swordfish from 1973 till 2000 something
@@loveofsea1 what were you fishing for back in 93
What a coincidence - an old boat well past useful age hits something big underwater that no other boats see or hit, and just happens to be very close to another boat from the same dock, as well as several other boats, all while 100 miles offshore.
Exactly. Remember the Commander? Mark Gillette?
@@barkoband4477 even more ironic that the legend, which almost sank a few years ago came to the rescue.
Going down by the bow...did it hit something?
Glad everybody is ok
The jigstrike out of h&m landing
Thank God it didn’t happen at night. Excellent work Captain Patrick D. Last man off the boat!
Great point . Didn’t think about that . Glad everyone is safe
good to hear everyone was safely disembarked!
