It's time again for this year's Christmas video. In 2024 we have chosen Mariah Carey's classic “All I want for christmas is you”. Mixed with a pinch of Michael Bublé's version and some of Rainer's vocal students, we hope to brighten up your Christmas spirit with our video. Merry, peaceful, happy and healthy Christmas to you all!

@ , Nichts zu danken, den kleinen Lob habt ihr schön reichlich verdient! Ich bin doch Amerikaner, habe allerdings Deutsch studiert und war anschließend 1983-90 als Offizier der US-Armee in der damaligen "West Germany"/ BRD tätig. Fünf dieser insgesamt sieben Jahre war ich in Günzburg (Bayern) stationiert, und zwar an einem Sonderwaffen-Lager in Riedheim (Leipheim), das meine Kompanie in ausgesprochen engster Zusammenarbeit mit einem Bataillon der Bundeswehr 24/7/365 betrieb, d.h. wir haben tagtäglichen deutsch-amerikanischen dienstlichen und öfters außerdienstlichen Kontakt auf jedem Niveau erlebt und aufrechterhalten. Mensch, das waren aber Zeiten, und ich zählte mehrere BW-Offiziere und Unteroffiziere unter meinen Freunden 1983-85 und anschließend 1988-90. 1996-88 war ich in Pirmasens stationiert, von wo aus ich oftmals ähnliche SW-Lager zu besichtigen hatte, um NATO-Prüfungen durchzuführen. Das sind schon fast 35 Jahre her, wodurch ich viel an meiner Sprachflüßigkeit verloren habe, doch ich versuche diese zu erhalten bzw. verbessern durch Bücher und heutzutage Internet. Für TH-cam bin ich echt dankbar, insoweit es mir soviel Möglichkeiten gibt, deutschsprachige Kanäle auszusuchen. Also Servus und Tschüß bis zum nächsten Mal!
