Is everyone who starts a husqvarna handicap? Im right handed and right footed but i don't do the can't get it done cause im lazy and dumb. Its called a left foot and trying dipshits!!!!
Research a decade ago showed heavier aftermarket springs in Europe. They prescribed 4 inches of rear sag. By the no preload adjustment was left. I'd found as much preload as possible with heavier form oil. There should be a way to calculate average rider weight and spring rate for preload. I'd imagine frames breaking on Japanese bikes if Supercross with 250 pound riders. Result: 5 bulging disks with spinal cord contact..
Had a used CR-430 i will always regret losing. Should have added a rear disk and heavier flywheel. Ive wondered too if single rear shocks and linkages are better. Heavier riders dont get the springs they need past 175. ( How the heck can a 250 pound rider set preload and sag? Jockies.)
Immaculate 75 Mikkola Replica shares the honor of peak Husqvarna. You never see these bikes - and I just don't understand why more is not seemingly made / understood of them. Barely got a glance, full frame at it - like the 500 and 510. The others those you do see
I had (have) an 86.5 xc 500 and the engine blew. I'm much older now and thinking about mounting an xc350f ktm engine in it. That frame has the geometry I've grown to love and don't care for the newer flat top bikes. Either that or I might consider selling it for the right money. Oh I have a 90 MX 500 ktm also that is for sale. 3500.00 for that bike with low hours. (65 hp). In Pa.

I dearly love those old bike's style. A gas tank looking like a gas tank makes the bike look like a bike in my eyes. The new ones look like a vehicle out of star wars maybe because my eyes are 63 y.o. and my brain at the same age can not forget the the photos of Heikki Mikkola on the wall my room, showing him on an older Husky than yours in blackish drak-red color, climbing or straddling into the air...Yours is a great sample, and the tank in volcano shape is excellent.
That's a brutal sounding beast of a bike. When the riders at the starting gate heard that monster coming up they said. Oh, shit! I ain't winning this moto.
Husqvarna wr500 pussies. Give your balls a tug and lose the skirt. It not the kick stand slappy!

There is better spring options out there for that weight. I weigh 240 w/o gear and do just fine.
Hey there do you have any husky’s left?
I do still ride my old Huskys, picked up another 3 in the last week.
Sweet sounding 👍

The 75 was so fast, it pulls harder than the 86 400. I love finding these old bikes. its hard though.
"Say...that's a nice bike 😏"
Sick collection and a good tune in the background

Randy Hawkins, Eddie Lojack, they made history on these machines.

I like the water cooled 500 way more
A very fine mechanic for Penton now KTM always said..."just give me an old air cooled big bore, I'm good" What a beautiful machine...
thank you
Monster bike.
I bet you are wearing a white helmet
Awesome machine that's all I have to say.

This my favorite bike dirt bike of all time
That engine looks so easy to work on
Sorry for such a lame video, i hate this puddle to puddle crap. Sure i hope i find something better to ride trail wise out here or I'm done....
I got a blown motor Husky 430 cr 1982. Your 430 sounds nice.
Bike sounds smooth
How old are you old husky dude???
59
Where to do you ride? I'm guessing white mountains, NH.? Looks great but after that flooding rains it needs a few days to dry.
I live in Alberta, riding in the area west of Caroline. It has been wet up here..
Awesome machine
Oh my god that sounds so good ❤
Could never work the husvarna out, look so good, didn't get results!????
Out of the box the primary gearing was terrible. Good looking bike with a ton of vibration though.
Looks & sounds excellent 👍

Some amazing trails and scenery
Thanks, I hope to find better trails yet, new to the area here. the quad trails are good but not what i like.
@@turb2point3 🤦🏻quads ruin trails so quick.
I like how the stop bulb increases intensity when you rev it xD
Cuz its stator only no battery
Absolutely beautiful !
Sure wish mine had electric start I'm probably going to have to let it go😢
I hear you, i have bad knees but love too get away.
Super nice 👍👍🏁🏁 I have one and it sounds the same I swear I think it's a 400 it has so much torque.
the 87 250 was a new long stroke 250 and it really does feel like a 400.
As we say in Sweden,HPD hop plockade delar=mishmash of parts.🤘
Yah goot !
