Love this musical masterpiece so much. You do it perfectly, thanks ❤
You make it look easy damn
❤ tool, ❤ your style
Epic man!
nice color tone
You slayed that!!!! Salute!!
The Tempest is a great game that is a tool to help people learn how they are doing
Great content
That’s really good. Don’t cringe it with stick flips.
Bom d+
Killer man
Any time I see somebody faks with this kind of alternative music I immediately introduce them to October Ends! I know you’d them as I did !
Loved it😱😱 I now know cause of the track you have here you’re going to love Nick Thurl! More specifically his song ”End Up Dead” 🤤
Great song choice, sounds awesome 👌
Great playing! Switch to a tighter snare, it will do wonders for the sound
Are these just RLLs at the beginning? Or what sticking is that?
Yeah I think the recording is mainly RLL (with a few RRLL). I think I ended up just doing RL in my video, cause after a few hours of practicing RLL it was hurting my knuckles! Sounds virtually identical (to me) at that speed anyways
@@BenjaminForsethDrums cool! I maybe try that one out later! 🔥
Gnarly
Super clean dude! 🔥
Hey thanks!
its all about muscle memory at this point 😂
1000% haha.
maaaaad 🔥
I think you should dive into October ENds
What’s your favourite song? I’ll check em out!
One day I’ll start drumming
Do it!!!! I love it so much. If you do: 1. Don’t get frustrated if it takes a bit to develop the coordination. Break each beat down into individual components, practice them separately and then try it together with the other parts! 2. Make practice fun if you can. Practice playing along to music you like (even if you’re not playing the same thing; music makes for a more interesting metronome) 3. TH-cam is a great resource for learning technique and fundamentals. I’ve never really had a drum teacher and have just learned a lot from watching other people play. 4. If you’re playing acoustic drums, PLEASE wear ear protection
@@BenjaminForsethDrums I just have a electric box drum kit but I’ll start adding drums more to my routine I guess
After seeing so many covers in kits with thousands of different cymbals, its nice to see that this song is playable with a simple eletronic kit, since thats all i have 😅 Great job mate
Hey thanks! Rim-Cymbals for the win!!
Jay is him
I wish haha
war of being isnt the best song on the album
Which is your favourite? At the time I made the video, this was the only song released!
@@BenjaminForsethDrums it is either sacrifice or the Grey
Great choices! I’ve personally been really liking the song Legion
@@BenjaminForsethDrums legion is good too.
Natural disaster The Grey Legion Echos Tender Burden war of being Sacrifice sirens
Perfect!
Nice work keeping time on those double timed single stroke hots on the hihat when it went double time with that thrash beat over the tremendous double kicks.
Dude! How does this only have 30 views?!? Awesome cover! This whole album was awesome.
Hey thanks! I really appreciate it!
Great song choice! What drums are you using?
Thanks! That’s the Roland TD-27!
Bleed who? Absolutely mental... great playing!
Bro.... don't even
Whew!
Tesseract is so good
What drum set it this?
Roland TD27!
Awesome bro, where’s the energy at tho
Did it all in a 3 hour sitting, so burned off all energy in the learning and rehearsing haha
It's the maths!!
It's funny I programmed midi drums to the 3 different sections that embodies this groove and i couldn't figure out what the hell kept getting off track in the first part.. it's the damn series of three 4's vs. 2.. thanks for easing my mind and affirming that I was right in thinking I was off lol good stuff on the part, this is really challenging
That third 4 confused the heck out of me too ahaha
Those 3 groups of 4 together trip me up every time 😂 Jay postones is a madman
Right?? I was trying to write it out and was in disbelief
😊 "promo sm"
Have those Roland settings available by chance?
Basically just built the kit from the ground up on the Roland TD27 module! Was there any settings you’re looking for specifically? Or maybe I can figure out a way to share the full configuration…
Curious what each head settings were, or full kit settings. If a full configuration is available I would be interested@@BenjaminForsethDrums
Thanks now I actually understand it
Definitely helped me to be able to see it haha
nice :)
Absolutely obscene. I think seeing it mapped out makes it actually way more impressive. That’s nuts.
Dude you missed the best part beginning at 2:53! Jay is giving Tomas Haake a run for his money on that section.
Haha this was a stepping stone to eventually learning that part!! Such a sick part 🔥
He actually talks on a live stream about learning bleed and how much that skill came in handy with this.
Went back and learned it! th-cam.com/users/shortsnddf6vYTVNw?feature=shared
Alright now play it when it amplifies and becomes those 32nd note bursts 😂 my brain hurts.
That part is NUTS. Goal is to eventually get there, but it’s gonna take some time ahaha
I did it! th-cam.com/users/shortsnddf6vYTVNw?feature=shared
Awesome as always!
You are too kind! Thanks for watching
Change the comment and it will change your light of comfort
Killin it. Just pure taste
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Man with those kick groupings written out this section becomes a piece of cake. Thank you!!!
Yeah definitely helped me out to be able to see it like that! No problem!
This is so much fun to play, tyvm!
Nice ear man, I could never do the perc part here😭
Thanks haha had to get the pen and paper out for this one! You could totally play it! Just might take lots of practice (it definitely did for me)
