Tan = opp/adj
Instead of using the quadratic equation and having to use a calculator to find the Y coordinate of the vertex, you could separate the c in ax^2 + bx + c, then find the square of ax^2 + bx. This will turn it into the form a( x^2 + (b/a)x + b^2/a^2 ) - b^2/a + c, which turns into the form a(x + b/2a)^2 - (b^2 + ac)/a. This means that -b/2a is the X coordinate of the vertex, and -(b^2 + ac)/a is the Y coordinate of the vertex. No calculator required outside of simple arithmetic if the numbers are a bit large, and you now have the vertex. you can also find the y intercept by replacing y in the equation y = ax^2 + bx + c with f(x) then solving for f(0). With these steps, you can find everything without plugging in the quadratic equation or a calculator. Math is wonderful isn't it :)
Thank you this is very helpful
What if the perpendicular is 2000cm and base is 20cm in a right angle triangle then what will be value of theta ..please tell
Ms Kelly, Thanks for making and uploading this video. this is indeed super useful for understanding how Magic Number rule works on Factoring.
Not In your class but my teacher can’t explain math for the life of him so here I am. You helped a lot, my test is next week, Thankyou!
Thanks teacher's 😊
I didn't get the same anwser at cos
Your better than my 9th grade teache
The best explanation of when to use each formula so far and the use of forming an equation was also well explained. Thanks
You just saved my geometry grade so thanks for the content!!!
I missed one day of geometry and my class already know this but me. This video helped me catch up thank you.
WOW. This will really help me for my final exams next week. Thank you so much
got the last digit wrong like i got 14.692 and she got 14.693 but for everything else tysm and i learned alot from this!
I think she rounded it off
@@boitumelomokagane6603 I do not know how to round off....bwuh im so bad at math
@@duckIore you round by what the number after 2 is, in this case it was a 5, if its bigger than 5 you add a number, if its lower than five than the number should stay the same, she rounded it bc the number was five and added one, hope this helped !
what a neat little trick kelly. Thanks:)
OMG, 2 decades later I learn this. Back in HS, I showed up to a trig class. Got Zero explanation of all this. Total school district fail. Have been scared of sin, cos and tan ever since, just to find out it's easy! Thank you!
whats the answer for the last question
Loved this. Thanks a lot! Earned a subscriber from me.
How am i gonna find the last equal in 18.385?
Thank you, I have a test a few hours later lol. this helped :)
thnks

Not in your class or anything but I needed help with my homework so I just looked up solving right angle triangles and this came up. Really helped thanks!
comprehensive
Where did the other A go for question 5 in the end?
