    Is it applicable to rollout the application with database based on code-first migrator approach Could you please add hint for it Thanks

    • @zubairhaque2706
      @zubairhaque2706 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that’s possible using rollouts with databases schema changes. So when the the blue/green or canary pods come up they will modifiy the database and so the old pods gets terminated and the canary pods that come up can have the rollout changes

    The policy has a vulnerability :-) Saying "Starts with /public" will also allow paths like "/public123" and "/public_whatever". In the name of proper use-case handling, this should have been divided into two separate rules: (1) Path is EQUAL to "/public"; (2) Path STARTS WITH "/public/".

    As I see policies as permissions that are granted based on a ruleset. How do I define a role that implements a set of multiple permissions in one go ? FYI OPA is new to me.

    • @anderseknert2525
      @anderseknert2525 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's exactly right - rules are really conditional assignments. You can repeat a rule for "or" conditions, i.e. allow { some_condition } and allow { some_other_condition }

    Thanks Walid, and happy that we're in the same company (Aramco). One small comment, I think focusing on the official document is a good way to save time and reduce complexity. So, maybe next time you can go through the docs and show how we can utilize them in the exam. Thanks again.

    I still do not get Use case where to use KEDA. We have all our workloads using HPA and replicasets to auto scale with CPU and mem utilization.. Can you help me understand it more please?

    • @tomKerkhove
      @tomKerkhove 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you only use cpu and memory then you are good to go. KEDA helps beyond those two, but also supports them.

    please help me, i really want to install RKE2 in AWS but in many youtube comments i found saying that you should not install kubernetes in container in production, it should be in VM, but for development purpose you can use RKE, K3S ? Please explain, is RKE2 production ready ? any performance issue would be there ?
