    I use double sided cotton flannel 6.6oz. It’s so soft.

    Hi! Thank you for this tutorial! I've purchased an overlock machine, but later i found out that on this machine it's recommended not to turn off the knives. Do you know how to finish sewing the circle in such case?

    A lot of wasted material. The circular shape does not offer any advantage than a square. And squares are easier to sew

      I agree but if you do square you want to round the edges. I like circles because they curve around the face more and don’t roar poking you in the eye or something

    I personally cut an unwearable T-shirt into squares (so it doesn’t have any scraps) and I’ll use a few layer of the fabric. If I’m feeling really wild I’ll use old towel :)

    Lovely tutorial. I just bought my overlocking machine. And I don't know have any idea how to adjust my tension. May I know what tensions set for your Pads? Thank you.

      Michelle Traynor hi, tensions are different for each machine, mine are usually around the 4/5 mark

      Hi, you can use cotton terry/towelling or flannel. Anything soft and absorbent.
