Did i fix every single problem these Jeep Willys bodies have? Is this going to be the ultimate Mini Jeep or will it be left for dead on the trail??

Built the worlds most capable Mini Jeep Willys in our garage
มุมมอง 2.9K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
Things escalated rather quickly when I decided to build a body for my mini jeep project. I was able to get a jeep cj2a tub and Willys mb hood and grill for next to nothing. My projects always take a turn for either the worst or the best.

DIY EARTHROAMER | F650 OVERLAND VEHICLE | BUILDING THE METAL STRUCTURE
hey man love watching your videos asoon as i seen this i instantly had to start building one for my son im gathering all the parts now engin,e tubing, and axles. If u got any tips on what not to buy or what works best id love to get your advice on a few the parts needed.. thanks
Super Cool! Thanks for sharing the build info .
Hey would you be interested in a build challenge next year?
Possibly, I have to start on my driveway earth roamer build which will take most my time. But what’s the plan or goal with it
@Chasingtonbuilds there may be build challenge brewing for "smaller creators" next year. Just trying to gauge who's interested and possibly encourage some guys to submit an application later on
Cool, just let me know. I’d be down if I can swing it
i may have missed it but what size tuning is it built from?
This chassis 1” .120 dom tubing
Lucky kids, awesome mom and dad. Cool build
Damnit !! Now I'm gonna have to build one for the grandkids !! Awesome creativity
We need more mini crawlers! Do it
Hay i saw a recommendation for your channel. I myself can agree with the computer illerate lol. Im 53 love fabricating and welding. Like the build . Like to see more on the mechanical side of the setup? Wishing you and everyone a Blessed and Merry Christ. mas Remember everyone Jesus Christ loves you all and in your heart and life is the answer through it all ✝️🙏
Nope
You are the proof the size of your willies does not matter
Wish i was young again!! Keep up the great work.
Great work, I think cutting the 12" out the middle was the way to go. Can't wait to see the cage.
Me too! That’s going to make or break the whole build I think
my 7 year old son loves this!
that's pretty cool! I love the mini jeep look!
Me too. Shrinking the body made it feel mini now. I can’t wait till it’s done
@ I know the feeling. I’m in the middle of my fj40 restoration and I’m excited to see it done!
You’re a good dad good job. That’s awesome. Love to build something like that for my nephews got about all the parts but I don’t have any time. I just need to make time for you good uncle thank you for giving me something to look forward to hopefully they’ll be happy. Maybe they don’t even like driving like I do. Good job dad you’re an awesome dad.
awsome, love the sudo trailing arms for the rear
Awesome build!
👍
Narrowing the body THAT much was a bold move but it really paid off, damn that thing looks good! Can’t wait to see more! 👍😎
Thanks so much! I was excited to cut it up but I was so nervous because of how much work it was. But man I’m so excited for it to be done
I’m building a 51 Wagon on 1 tons & a 454, I kind of went in the opposite direction but an old MB the size of a Razor looks like a major blast
Is awesomeCAD the same as awesome cardboard aided design?
Haha that’s exactly what my cads design is
Man keep up the good work. But i have a question. Is that a homemade camper behind you? Looks like the side of a Fifthwheel camper.
Yes it’s. After I finish this build it’s back to work on my droamer build. It’s a driveway earth roamer going on my 2000 f650
That's awesome. I'd love to have your energy to pound out this stuff.
Nice job. Can’t wait to see it on the trail.
Me too! 27 more things to do and it will be out on the trail!
That's badass! But I do feel sorry for that 230 powerplant. LOL
Hahaha it’s not going to go anywhere fast but this will be the most capable mini jeep out there.
Can you make the seats adjustable for me
Your giantess will be very crammed in there.
Sweet ❤
Comment for the algo, looks good keep it up
Nice job dude!
Really hope you start to get the recognition you deserve, awesome fabwork, for the kids makes no better reason, the jeep was a rust pile no one was using. Now gonna live a long, rough life, for the kids man, sick 🤘
I hope so! I am hoping the content keeps getting better and better as we navigate this TH-cam and new build. My kids better not try to take my Jeep 😂
This is the type of content i love to watch! This build is so rad.
Thanks man!!!
Are you going to be doing a windshield and cage on it? Looks awesome so far.
Yup Im currently figuring out the cage and will be building a windshield as well. I’ve got to get help from friends on the cage cause my talent only goes so far haha
Lol, I understand that. I bought a tubing bender with no idea how to use it, but my buddy does, so he is helping me learn.
I think the proportions are even more willy's than a willy's
With it cut down I think it matches the size so much better
"This is a rock crawler, not a show car" hahahahaa
Easy way to justify my fabrication skills haha
Awesome! Have you come across another atv motor option that would have correct rotation and also allow for all forward speeds + reverse?
After the researching I’ve done I think all shaft driven spin counter clockwise, but flipping the diffs was simple enough. I’m not sure how much of a beating they can take with wheel hop and binding so we will see
Plan “A” just evolves……… 3:42
Haha it really does. It’s bad when I get my plasma cutter out.
Neighbors should be okay with this sitting in a driveway . It makes the hood look historical 😂
Not straight not square, as the good lord intended. They used to drop these suckers out of planes in crates, square is overrated.
That’s what I tell myself as I build things that aren’t straight . 😂😂
Very kool 👌
Love it. Really hope to see you on the trails someday. Maybe we should do some snow wheeling this year.
I wish I had a rig that could do any form of snow wheeling halfway decent. I’ve had a rzr for 4 years now and I’ve been itching to have another crawler.
I'm sooo freaking jealous. Loving this build.
Following and subscribed now!! Great builds. Thank you for sharing!! I’m “monster garaging” a few wheelers right now as well.
I've been waiting for an update 🤙 this thing is turning out rad!
It’s starting to come together, I’m excited with how it’s turning out. I love the stubby nose and back. It reminds me of the cartoon cars haha
@Chasingtonbuilds im excited to see you out wheeling it with your kids!
Same same haha
Love it dude
Thanks man! It’s turning out like I have in my head and that’s the best!
Hey that is awesome!! But can I make a suggestion please put a helmet on the rockin kid. I'm an brain injury survivor and it has takin me 21.yrs. to learn to use my phone!!! You go kid the sky is the limit!!!!
Their necks aren’t strong enough for helmet with them being harnessed in. It can cause a neck injury to them. They will have helmets on when they’re old enough to be on their own and not having someone walking right next to them.
ฉันสงสารเครื่องยนต์😢
That's awesome parenting! What a great dad. Is that one of Fabn801's buggies?
Yes it is.
@@Chasingtonbuilds Very NICE!
Looks perfect for a golf cart body
Unfortunately the golf cart bodies are way too small. Width and length wise.
Having less shit would be nice hahahahahahahahahaha
This is so awesome!!
Amazing....your builds are all SO cool! Im curious about the steering setup...is it fully manual? Hydro assist somehow? Seems like the kiddos have no problem steering even with the front locked...
A buddy of mine is the one who came up with it. It’s a sxs universal eps, sliding steering shaft and a chromoly rack and pinion from kartek. It works flawlessly.
Will you adopt me???Im only 52!
Haha 😂😂😂
How old are the kids? Freaking awesome BTW
They’re 4 and 6 check out our newest videos where we have more video of them wheeling
