I just posted a video of when I filmed the First Coast

They don't leave from St. Mary's anymore ? I did not know this. I hear the horns every day crossing the creek.

So right at the 11:00 minute mark, that's the spot I have a video of that very locomotive coming within a few feet of hitting a car that pretty much stopped on the track. I thought for sure I was filming an accident. There is a nice water crossing just up the track from that spot which is nice to shoot with a drone. There is also a little water crossing about mile back down the road from where this was filmed. They have quite the collection of vintage locomotives and cars in the SMRR. I remember when the paper mill was still open and the railroad ran 24/7 bringing in coal and shipping out paper. Now it's just tourist trains and a few odd working jobs here and there. The times they are a changing..
