Hello Oli, It's a very helpful video. Did you mention anywhere in the video about the outreach email address you are submitting the query with? My question is, are you using your own personal gmail address or an official email domain? Also, in case you are submitting a query on behalf of a client, would you use the official email domain or gmail?
Journalists are far, far more likely to include your quote if they think its from the client, so I do everything in my power to make it seem like the email is coming from the client. This includes sending it from an email using the clients' domain. If you cannot get access to the clients domain then I use a lookalike domain (so if im pretending to be Bill.Gates@microsoft.com I'll buy a domain like Microsoft.co and create an email address: Bill.Gates@microsoft.co). However HARO does not exist anymore and the main journalist plaform I am now using is Qwoted. Qwoted are far more strict about you not pretending to be your sources, and in this case I say that I'm a PR agent representing my client. Sorry, I had a really bad headache when making this so wasn't at my best. I made two errors which ill correct here. Firstly I forgot to put a subject line which would have been: "Domestic cleaner on cleaning pee out of mattresses and avoiding mould growth" Secondly I shouldnt have said "third party bio" - thats not a thing. I should have said "third person bio". Again my apologies, wasn't at my best but want to keep consistent with the vids.
Sorry guys, I forgot to do the subject line. Its important that the subject line shows that my answer is more nuanced than just "yay this would be great for everyone", so I'd put: Video Translation Will Increase Efficiency AND Competition For Business Owners".
