The top leaves are blocking the air flow for the bottom. Are you watering straught to the soil or from the top? And you'd do well if you put mulch or miracle grow around the base to hold in the moisture

The bottom branches should always be kept pruned, your tomato plant looks hungry and thirsty and in need of nutrients. Give them some fresh fertilizer.....

where are you? what is your climate like? basically weed, feed, water very well - about a liter/half gallon per day, prune out some unnecessary branches to increase air flow....what was the soil underneath it like? was it like the soil in there now? if so, then it is way too dry and it isn't able to drain properly. first water very well, then get a long stick or pipe and loosen the soil as far down as possible. next put some veggies, egg shells and coffee grounds in a blender or food processer, pulverize and then mix this compost into the soil around your plant. if you can find some worms dig a hole and let them loose lightly covered. they will eat any compost and poop out fertilizer.

it looks dry & do not every water the leaves especially in the morning sun will burn the leaves bc of the water & check the acidity in the dirt soil w/natural fertilizer will definitely help or make fertilizer with egg shells bake the shells on low till dry bust them up 2 powder add 2 tsps of shells 2 tsps vinegar mix 2ghr then add that to gallon of water put only on the dirt in evening ❤or just buy fertilizer still water ONLY THE DIRT IN EVENING NOT THE LEAVES THEY BURN..Hope that helps 😉 worked with all my veggies & fruits in full sun

Are there holes on the bottom? If not, drill some and it will resolve the drainage issues.

Ha its chemtrails :) I bet it happened right after a rain ? Then you noticed after the sun was on them?

Id say make sure everything is draining properly, those 5 gal buckets are gonna be a nightmare without any holes in the bottom!
