Carlos Tatay, a Red Bull Rookies Cup Champion, Moto3 and Moto2 rider, had an unbelievable crash in Portimão, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. In this video, I tell his story - from paralysis to his new dream of racing in Dakar 2026. There is so much more to his story, but for the benefit of the viewing experience, I kept it short and sweet. I spent lots of hours watching interviews and translating them into English so that you really feel his story in a more organic way. I hope you enjoyed the video!
Since making this video, the FIM are still not paying for Carlos' hospital bills. In a recent post from Carlos he says that the FIM "Will only pay for you, if you are sitting on the sofa"
