Not sure.
Got mine and it doesn't work. Turns on and charges but when I plugged in anything to the AC output...doesn't do anything. I tried my laptop and my cell phone both well below 1200 w
Just seeing your comment here now, but guessing you found the answer in the manual. To turn on the AC outputs, you need to first turn on the unit - then push the button above the AC output door that flips up. It's about 1/2 inch long and 1/4 inch tall button that's small enough to miss. Once you push that - it turns on the AC ports and you'll see a little light indicator on the LCD screen showing it's activated. Same goes for the USB ports on the front. I think it's a "power save" as I know running an inverter to just keep the AC ports active drains power - so if you're only using USB then you'll have longer battery life not having the AC ports on (and vice versa).
