I would say you were most likely bullied because you seem nice and you are pretty looking

I’m an education assistant and was covertly bullied by the teacher in the class as well as the other EA, who eventually joined in with her later. Thankfully I discovered long ago that the field of education, public education specifically - is filled with insecure, controlling women who can’t tolerate anyone being perceivably better than them. I was nothing but kind and courteous (but never too friendly). They ignored me all the time, so I did my job and focused on the kids. That made them hate me more. She started complaining about me to admin, so they started pulling me out into a different class - which I had no qualms about. All this to say I have no idea what God was doing or why He allowed them (and many other workplace bullies in the past) to treat me so terribly. How did you make peace with that?

I'm very sorry you had to endure this. I see people where I work deal with this quite often. I do my best to protect them but I'm not a manager so there's only so much I can do. I'm glad you're in a better place now. No one deserves that kind of treatment.

the moment I have heard your voice and seen your eyes, I have seen Jesus in you… and then you say you have a strong relationship with Jesus and I have just in tears 😢 , you’re so strong 🙏 I have been myself through work mobbing and it was just awful.. it was a period I wasn’t close to God as much as I am now and I keep wondering how would I have felt, how would I have lived this experience if I’ve invited God earlier. May God be with the people who did this to you because they really need him. To be this mean with someone, especially someone so sweet like you, it really means you must be lost.

And how are you now? I went through this too. The mean girl applied for the job that I was given and she mounted a smear campaign against me. I went on 5 weeks of stress leave and came back to find that my employers (who were a committee of teachers) had hired someone in my position. I lasted another week. I spent 22 years away and raising my on children but not without them mounting a smear campaign and spreading rumours and picking on my children. I was in a very small town and we were farmers. I couldn't wait to leave. I have recently only just returned to the same industry and it is happening again. But this time, I have an escape plan. I went through counseling and did alot of work on myself. I kept hold of my faith and still keep Jesus with me all throughout the day now. You have to protect your peace and spend time away from work. It is hard when you are in a caring profession to switch off. Honestly I think that people like this are not in it for the right reasons. THEY are the ones who want the validation and will tread on anyone and everyone to get the praise they feel they deserve. I really feel very sorry for them because they are so much in a lack mindset that they need to pull others down to feel good about themselves.

I came across this video when looking for information about workplace harassment and bullying, which I've been dealing with for over a year. First and foremost, I admire and respect you for having the bravery to create this video and share your story. My case is very similar to yours, and it continues to affect me in a variety of ways. I was fired unfairly and illegally after reporting specific illegal activities at work. Nothing was done to her, and soon she and her allies, began bullying and harassing me. I received little to no support. In my case, I am a single lady with no family and only know a few people who you don't always expect will help. I've been in this situation for more than a year, and like you, even going to the grocery store is difficult, since they follow you around to harass and intimidate you. You end up isolating yourself to find peace of mind and safety. In my case, I wish I could just relocate to another state, but I have not been able to do so since I lack resources, having to not find work after six months. I feel that many adults are bullied and harassed, and I hope that legislation will implement laws that will protect people from bullying in the workplace. I am a Christian lady and, like you, without Jesus, I would not have found strength and peace. I hope and pray you heal completely, in Jesus' name.

I've had four jobs in total in my life. The last three of them I got mobbed.

Yes too many details will identify the people who were not innocent , but not aware of what really was happening., because some would likely be joining the tormentors out of peer pressure. I recently made a police report after car vandalism years after leaving my work place ( where I endured over 3 decades of minor damage & tire punctures.) Other people were also attacked. Bullying has become an unfortunate term for what becomes (as an adult) crimminal activity. What this person thinks is mischief became a prank that nearly caused a fatal accident with my vehicle , & under the law they should have reasinably known this .Lets all call it what it is CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.!

Yeah when you're working the toxic boss sometime we have to learn but it can't ignore them forever you have to speak up don't care if they don't like it you're helping yourself come out of a toxic workplace I'm your health will be perfect for me I don't think no one s*** to drink we are not in high school anymore we are going to ask adults so stop the toxic Behavior at work I'm never date your coworkers are your manager

Sweet people who are always trying to reach out and connect to others get hurt a lot. So now I am not going out of my way anymore. I’m just going to not try so hard because I am sick and tired of getting hurt and always being left out.

Wow I really needed to hear this today. Going through this at work and it’s awful! Can I ask: did you leave that particular job where you were being bullied? And HOW were you able to manage to let it go? This bully emotionally dysregulates me SO much that it ruins my whole day or even several days! I cannot seem to let it go and I keep ruminating on it. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. I’m very sorry you went through this too.

I don't know if you still check the channel, but as a teacher I had a harassment campaign against me by a small number of students and their parents. In truth and reflecting back, they were just getting their excuses in early. None of them were particularly bright but had enormously inflated opinions of their own abilities. Rather than just face that and play the cards they were given, they sent in constant vague complaints 'we aren't really sure what we're doing and why' etc. The atmosphere was toxic. The thing is, people like that go off to become idiots somewhere else. That's the great thing about teaching - we get rid of everybody with time and they're long forgotten/no loss.

I know this is an old video, but thank you for opening up about what you went through. Some people are super jealousy and target others as a result, and like you said, it appears they want you to be as miserable as them. The 'mean girls/guys' persona is a huge problem in workplaces that people don't talk about as much. You seem like you have a good head on your shoulders, so I hope everything worked out for you, and I hope this video encourages others going through something similar. God bless.

I’m a quiet person. I keep to myself. I’m a petite in stature. So, bullies assume I’m an easy target. When they try me it is instant regret for them. I rip them apart so viciously that never try me again. I work at a hospital. I’ve had doctors, coworkers, managers, and administrators that tried me. Every last one surly regret it. I stood up for myself and did not allow them to bully and intimidate me. I go to work happily; unbothered. They try to see who they can pull their BS on. They learn quick with me I’m not the one.

I was sexual tormented by paid blk male security guards at that tower on 59th street Columbus circle 8th Avenue. And the bdlg owners dont care about victims of their security guards sexual abuses and verbal sexual harassment. The security guards have a history of sexual abuse but the bdlg owners could care less. Rich doesn't mean decent human beings in the tower owners case.

This is so sad 😢 the bullying needs to stop. I would get bullied and still do by daughters get bullied.. I was, still am (but working on this with professional help 😔) being my mother’s scapegoat and separating my family as it’s her owns. I know I’ll never get married. It makes me sad because I would dream about it when I was young. I made a comment to my mother that I won’t be able to be around her 24/7 or on call when I get married because we’ll have our family life and she made that sound she always makes when I’m not following the control. I wish I knew about this when I was a teen so I could make a clean break. I’m so upset my life was never mine. I was so brainwashed so stupid it’s like I’m trapped. Even if I wanted to I would t be able to pack up and leave because EVERYTHING is controlled. My paychecks my social life no social media. I’m so stupid. At my age I should be making good money I should have a good savings account I should have something to show for my damn life. Now never see my oldest since my mother needs to be everyone “God” What is my life? Seriously why? When I was younger I tried to leave this world and sadly didn’t work. I try to keep notes but nothing is ever private… I wish I could release a book and somehow some way it’s a good book and with advice that will help others and truly help those that are stuck and this gives them the push they need. Maybe it’ll give me that push and extra income that’s private so I can leave. I can’t believe this. I’m crying right now I know I’m gonna be made fun of because this isn’t the same as the video above and with my age I seem slow but I’m not. I’m not trying to get pity I’m just wanting to rant and hopefully I can overcome this before to late. This world is truly broken and worried about everything. I’m trying to see if I have any opportunity’s to make a good wage but without the qualifications it’s not looking good. I do pay to God every night. Maybe his angels can see this and it’ll will be ok and anyone else that’s struggling right now reading this.

Thank you for posting this video. I quit my job today due to my toxic coworker trying to get me fired yesterday. I work in a group home and one of our disabled clients family came to visit him. My toxic coworker told the family visiting the house that I don’t know how to cook, clean or even know how to use a toaster to make toast and I don’t know how to use an electric can opener. Then when I asked my toxic coworker if I can use the dish sponge to wash the dishes because she had the sponge by her to wipe the kitchen counters, the toxic coworker threw the sponge across the kitchen and the sponge hit me hard in the chest. Then the coworker said in front of the family visiting my group home that she doesn’t know how I lasted this long not knowing how to cook when Im in the military i.e, army reserves. Before the family left toxic coworker told them that all I do is laundry and sit on my phone in the living room and don’t talk to nobody. After my shift ended, that’s when I decided to quit, life’s to short to be dealing with this childish drama. Meanwhile this toxic coworker is 53 years old with children that are older than me.

I’ve been bullied my whole life since I was a child. Specially in the 90’s when nobody was aware of ADHD or treatment for ADHD. From teachers, family, boyfriends, co workers, classmates my whole entire life and I’ve always asked myself why! I’m quiet and nice to people, I’m always keeping my distance. Teachers even calling me dumb for not being smart. Now that I’m older I try to defend myself more often I definitely don’t see my family and don’t want to go to family reunions. It’s hard having adhd and learning things specially at my job. I literally cried with this video because I understand her. How much can I take? I get nauseous going to work and sometimes even blamed for things that wasn’t my fault. How much of this do I have to take? I’m a believer of god and even asked god why me? Why can’t I just have peace everywhere I go?

I’m now being belittled for the first time in my life at work. It’s horrible and at age 59 it’s not so easy to go find another job. Bless you sweetie❤❤.

One of the bosses who’s 50th birthday party was, they got someone to go around to individual people with invitations and that person was told to hide the invitations under the keyboard. Because they obvs didn’t want everyone to go. Bullying is still going on in the place

Our society needs more resilience against bullying. Seems like it's encouraged in systemic ways for sure. Companies boast about their "work culture" and "harassment policies" - often a bunch of sociopaths lying through their teeth.

I was bullied every where i work ,im now 51 yrs ,im done with it all now, i get to be at home enjoying my life,my hobbies,my garden,my family,my body is back to normal ,no stress ,i prayed about this leaving the work force ,this broke my character and my soul,being tortured everyday,but i thought this was me being a productive person ,contributing to my household,but now i contribute by maniging by home ,being a wonderful mom and wife, i will never miss that !

Hey girl I've been there I had the whole work force turn against me. People I thought were my friends didn't have my back.The bitch manager did nothing but lie about me. Now I'm in a new job and recently won an award. After leaving there. well that says it all. Keep strong you are a good person.

It's because they are losers. Probably very unattractive, with zero personality. I have a group of people at work that did this to me for years. They hate your purity and charisma. Just keep being you, and they hate it more. Because they can't be like you.

I went through exactly what you did, the bullies that targeted me also took it off company property and I was being stalked. I have voluntarily quit those jobs and it didn’t matter, I’ve also about a year ago moved to another state. I have a good support group that deals with survivors of having been abused by narcissists and toxic people. There are people out there where we have all suffered the same abuse so we tell our stories so others can feel validated and know that they are not alone. I’m hoping that we can push a law that makes coercion control and bullying a felony in this country. The thing is I found out that at one company that I was at for 17 years management were pulling the men into a meeting where they were being told how they can further abuse females under the radar and get away with it. HR will not help you, they flipped it on me and tried to make it out that I was causing the problems. This happened after the company had a rightful women’s discrimination lawsuit against them and we were awarded money. Kind of a long story but I think most of you will get what I’m telling you.

Bullies are narcissists & they are all toxic!

They bully me at work and at home and they made a rumor I was gay and a transgender and I’m not gay or bi and I’m not ugly. I’m a smaller petite black woman. And I’m a nurse. And I am a Christian. I’m not androgynous. It’s someone that is gay because they keep making things sound gay. And if I wear my hair in a ponytail or bun they bully me and all the black people are braiding their hair or natural I don’t like that. These people it’s like they don’t respect people’s opinion of how they choose to live their lives. I’m 34 years old and I already know what I want and how I choice to live my life.

I went through it 4 10 years. Then walk 2 HR forced to leave......r b fired. Never could define 4 what. So I retired. Then IRS came after me at 52. He'll. Then it landed me n hospital w jugular clot. They meant it 4 my death.

They don't deserve to be forgiven.
