Really angry, at the resort now, yesterday when the donkeys came on the beach this one security guard who works for the hotel chased them away, they was so scared when they saw him they ran. Then today while I was feeding the skinny sick looking one, the same security guard walked up to the donkey and kicked him twice. Me and my wife had a go at him, but he was just smiling and laughing saying he's allowed to and that the donkeys not allowed here. He didn't care. We went to reception. The manager refused to speak to us, despite walking past us in the reception area, but we came back later and the reception staff said the manager spoke to the security guard who claims he only pushed the donkey that was all. Complete lier and despite us witnessing it and other guests on the beach, they are doing nothing about it. I even reported that the donkeys looked sick and in need of attention. They claim they have let someone know, but can't say who. I insisted on speaking to the manager, so the staff member again went to the manager and came back saying we had an appointment with the other manager at 7pm. Fuming. They claim to care about animals yet doing nothing about this. That guy will carry on hurting the donkeys. This is not acceptable

You can also add add-ons such as unlimited access to some surrounding parks like XCARET. You can also include return private transfers. For a very slight increase in total cost, you can opt to pay everything on arrival at the hotel so nothing at all to pay upfront. You can cancel up to a week before arrival with no charge and afterwards you are charged a maximum of 1 night stay in event of cancellation or no-show. I’m just waiting for flights prices to come down now before i book those. Can’t wait!!!! ❤❤❤

Breakfast was great, tacos and pizza upstairs were great, drinks were great. The other food was not great.

hello, can anybody tell me if its okay to check out on a sunday? I heard from reviews that checking in or checking out on weekends can be chaotic. Like line up in the reception is crazy. My daughter is bringing her baby so we dont want to go through long line up or airport transfers much much delayed.

We had mold on our ceiling and our bathroom smelled like a sewer. There was no ventilation in the bathroom. The beach area was never cleaned as dishes and cups were all over the place which attracted flies and bees. Didn't matter who you told, no one cared enough to clean up. Most of the food was not good except maybe for the Japanese restaurant. The Italian restaurant had the worst food. My wife said the gnocchi tasted like play doh. Trust me these people don't know what al dente means. My sister's pasta carbonara was overcooked ten times over. The burgers were ok and the breakfast was decent. But other than that, we spent most of the time trying to figure out what food would not make us sick. Several in our group had stomach issues but nothing that lasted too long because we ate nothing that was sitting around for hours in their buffet. There were birds in some of the restaurants and they also had an issue with flies. They would put tiny fans near the fruit to somehow swat the flies...I expected so much more but was very underwhelmed by the food and poor service and the really unhealthy hotel room.

We were there last year and our friends had cockroaces in there rooms. Laundry was hung on bushed outside our rooms. So this is a joke that it's rated #1.

Gonna rant about the bahia principe resort if you have the time to read congrats to you since this is gonna be pretty long, for starters theres gaps in the tiles, the cart to transport you and your suitcases takes around 10-40 minutes and theres bedbugs. I was in room 1019, an absolute nightmare, I slept quite well but woke up with around 10 bedbug bites on my back and mosquitoes could get past the nets. The food is great but they mess up your drinks alot, My aister asked for sprite with no ice and they came back with water and ice, sometimes they gave the right thing but yknow not expected for a "fancy" resort. Pools are all over the place and one woman put her bag on me when i was in a public cart to get the beach, oh yeah - you had to go into large golf carts that they called "busses" and the drivers cram so many people on one cart its a nightmare to find an spot on one. One time the guy driving let people on, then left the cart, got on his phone and walked away. We waited 20 minutes for our new driver to show up. Back to the drink situation, you have to PRE BOOK most of the food places on a device, and the wi-fi is a horror to get onto, it continously disconnected and only worked by the pool. DONT leave any money out, theyll automatically assume its a tip and take it. I once forgot to put away my 50 dollars and it got stolen, so there goes some of my holiday money. Workers are really nice but the moment you mention theres bedbugs in the room, you need a high-quality picture of it, if you dont theyll say its a random bug that made its way into your room. ALSO mosquito bites dont last months, but since I slept in that dreadful room I have had scars all up my leg that look like they arent going to heal from what the management call "mosquito bites" more oike the yellow bedbug that I found in my underwear. I moved to room 2022, abdolute horror show, not enough beds, only a master bed. There was me, my sister and both parents - the management knew this and made us wait FOURTY minutes for transportation to the new room, we then had to deal with not enough beds. Bearing in mind it was late at night, the nightly entertainment was half-way done. We call room service and ask for another bed, then we go to watch the night entertainment while we wait. Guess what we come back to? THEY PUT A FOLDING BED OUTSIDE THE DOOR. I was fuming, we opened the door and rolled the bed inside, guess what - rust markings all over the bottom from bedbugs. We left the hotel and swapped to a better resort nearby.

Royalton Bavaro. Hunter steakhouse add the best salmon. Rios wasn't too bad lots to eat, everything else was rather basic. I certainly was not impressed with the food choices at the buffet. Room service breakfast was excellent just a 45 minute wait. Score sports bar was ok mainly had chicken wings, but it was open late if you were peckish.

I’m coming there 9/15 / 2024 I emailed the resort regarding my transfer 7 days ago none response as yet. I called the resort restricted number , I called his secondary, cannot get through,

To begin with, almost every chair in their restaurants has stains. I wish they'd purchased chair casing and wash them from time to time. Watch out the water attractions, you can easily get scratches on your elbows. In some rooms, the water from the shower can leak just below the bathroom door - as a workaround, they suggest placing towels on the floor in front of the bathroom.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana ruined our family vacation. Unfortunately, we experienced virtually all of the negative feedback items mentioned elsewhere, including a dump of a room and major stomach illness from undercooked food. What was infuriating was the staff soliciting positive reviews or, worse, taking your cell phone and leaving positive reviews on the resort from your phone. We were solicited for positive reviews. We heard the same from other guests while at the resort. We were warned not to let staff take your cell phone. Each day, every day there are easily 10 to 15 positive reviews on google for ‘super animation’. The resort staff was very persistent on having my phone at check out to ‘check out through expedia app.’ I absolutely refused to hand over my phone, I never logged out through any app, and nothing happened as a result. Save your money and aggravation … READ AND LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Go somewhere else for your vacation!!!
