This is definitive & original version from In Search Of Space that I found with acid in 1972 at 14. Still love both till this day & as an album In Search Of Space may not be the best album on the planet to all but it's done more for me thank is possible to explain in words. There is nothing better for entering altered states of consciousness.

This sounds like Tim Blake to me. Very New Jerusalemish...I thought Blake was involved with Hawkwind for a small time around the time Ginger Baker was but not 100% sure. So I checked & he definitely was. There's even a video uploaded called "Tim Blake with Hawkwind' I discovered in checking.

As a massive Hawkwind fan, I just wanted to say thankyou so much for posting this .. I remember seeing Simon for the first time with Hawkwind when they played assault and battery/ golden void ,.. Simon's violin just added another amazin dimension to an already amazin song !! thanks again.

Thanks for bringing this to my attenzion Bryan, dunno how it passed me by,,,,,,,,,, but I suspect it was around the same time I went to an ex-akwind gig at Hastings community centre featuring Simon House, Alan Davey (who didn't have time to chat), and Harvey Palebridge who did have time to chat, lovely geezer was he. Can't remember who else was playing though as I was smoking some very nice stuff with some head who'd just got back from Nepal!
