More slightly organized chaos from the SVF field in Phoenix, Az. We learned that our L-39s are about 10mph faster😂

A little slower than the full scale but it's looking good. We'll see how it does in flight...
AD F-16 “re-maiden” with gear test and paint!

Moved the cg back even further, which is actually making it more stable and finally flew it with the gear up for the first time! $2k later... Long rollout because the brakes didn’t work, which was due to a faulty servo connection. Now fixed and time to get this bird dialed in with the Cortex gyro!

Probably a moot point by now, but it appears the nose gear strut didn't lock.
And what is the edition of the plane ,a common edition or a light edition? Thanks!
They only made the 1/5 in airex. So I guess they’re all standard
Now the manufacture says that there's a lighter edition to choose. In addition, what's your takeoff weight with fuel?
Is the engine reliable?Has it ever gone wrong? I'm also choosing the engine for my 1/5f16
hello, The work is really impressive and i find it difficult to understand the kinematics of the mechanism. Can u please provide or direct me to any of the the F-16 landing gear designs or engineering drawing or manual which may be of my help. I am a student and trying to design it.
hello, i see that u have done a lot of work on F-16 models. Can u please provide or direct me to any of the the F-16 landing gear designs or engineering drawing or manual which may be of my help. I am a student and trying to design it.
Awesome brother👊
hey Sir,,,, you are my Hero..... thats wonderfull. Im working in my own f16 rc design and I have to start with this thing. im just trying to undertand haw does it works and the easy way to do it. Your video show me it. Very, very informative. thanks for share it. By the way, the creator of this mechanism should be an allien-
Just starting my own F-16 ann the first design so far is the landing gear. hope to resolve it soon 😅
Why did u convert to air?
Wow! A beautiful aircraft. Excellent pilot.
where can I buy it
I recently bought this same jet and the factory gear is worthless. Upon landing after the maiden the nose wheel collapsed and broke. Also I couldn't get the right side main gear to work with the rest, yes it was reverse servo so I put it on its own channel then mixed it in. Half the time the great wouldn't come down all the way. I see now why you modified the doors. I have since removed the landing gear taped doors and now belly land it. And did you slow the gear?
I just happen to have a brand new spare set of electric gear for this plane which you cannot get anymore. Message me if you’re interested. $80 shipped
This model is the biggest piece of garbage I've ever spent money on!
why do people shoot video this way well stupid ? but the UC is awesome
Do you have a link please. It will be my next purchase
Awesome !! Just got this plane ! 😊 question ? Does it run on a elevon mix ? What kind of gyro did you use ?
Good
What's the speed and flight time you get out of this?
Flight time as shown in the video- speeds of 225mph are possible
Killer. I'm looking to fit my jet with a similar set up. Any issues with the thrust tube and what the 300 is pushing?
The thrust tube seems to be fine with that power. I also have a friend with the same pipe and no issues there either on a 300+. The 300 is putting out just shy of 70lbs. I have a sw300 in stock if you’re looking to buy. (I became a swiwin dealer after me and a couple friends had kingtech 320s blow up multiple times, yikes!)
@@swatace23 Appreciate it! I've already told a friend of mine Id buy the 1st one from him when the time comes but when I'm looking for the next one I'll keep that in mind!
This is the best flight on the b2 I’ve seen on TH-cam. I know this is an old video, but I recently bought the kit and just finished it. Watching the other videos I was nervous to fly it lol.
Nice one Spencer! How do you like the Swiwin 300B? I got 2x140Bs for the YAK130 1/4 project. facebook.com/134470083395953/photos/pcb.1553105754865705/1553097448199869/?type=3&theater
Holy crap that's fast
Nice flyin Michael!!! Great video.
Great flight nice jet i want this one
Hello Sir, I need a battery ( 6s 40c 4000mah 16.2v). I didn't found anywhere. Actually i am making a jet, using 70mm 6blade 3500kv motor, please recommend me battery.
Search Grand there is no way I can make a recommendation on a battery without knowing the manufactures specs for your Edf unit as well as the size/ style of your plane. These make a big difference!
@@swatace23 Thanks for your reply.Actually sir, i need a battery of 4000mah, 40c, 6s, 16.2v, but i dont know from where to purchase it. Please help!
Still making these Schneckypoo@gmail.com
Brandon Schneck I'm between batches, but I may make a set in a couple weeks. I'll contact you if I get around to it, I'm a super busy guy unfortunately...
Spencer K it's all good just wondering. I'll end up just making one. I got time wail waiting on parts.
How much should I expect to pay for one of these? And would I be ok to fly with no rc plane experience? Bear in mind I have tons of quadcopter experience
Depends on how you equip it. $4-500 range. Also not a good first airplane. Even with quad exp you will want something more forgiving to learn on.
Hi. I learned more about flying a very fast rc jet. Your advanced flying skills are demonstrated by the maneuvers with landings and takeoffs in high and low altitudes with your final landing on a narrow street. I enjoyed the video and I sure like the sound of the jet engines. Are you keeping the rc jet. If not I sure could use it as a model for my class. Thank You Spencer. I enjoyed, learned from it and am inspired by it. I plan to buy an rc jet in the future.
hi there, is it epo or eps?
Jesus that thing moves!
What happens if you somehow have a radio failure? Also, consider putting your antenna horizontal....the polarization will give you better signal propagation to your receiver. If it goes bad, there is a good chance something or someone could get damaged or hurt. Bad choice for flying around so many houses. Looks like your flying skills are OK to fly in a tight area, but a high risk if something goes wrong. A lawsuit would be waiting on your doorstep....If you have an AMA membership, the insurance would not cover you. What would you do if someone got hurt? No need for a smart reply, but would like to know your thoughts on what would happen if you lost radio contact.
If I have a radio failure, the plane will crash, of course. Into a house? maybe- It's a risk I have considered and one I'm willing to take. My neighbors love my airplanes and I can afford to replace anything that gets damaged as a result- which is why I only fly foam in the 'hood. I have AMA and it's only a supplement anyhow- my homeowners takes the first hit. Not a smart reply- but please keep comments positive/productive. Thanks
You showed your true colors by the gentleman-like reply, that is a cool gesture and I admire that. I guess I only take exception with one part of your comment which is "I can afford to replace anything that gets damaged as a result". Obviously you (nor I) cannot afford to replace a life....and inside the foam is a chunk of metal & chemicals called a lipo. The inertia generated by your model or even a slightly lighter one is enough to kill someone or cause permanent damage. Looks like you and I may be well off financially, but I think we both would be out on the street after we lose our home and other assets when a court finds us guilty of involuntary manslaughter and the suits are won. Do you also fly at an AMA sanctioned field as well? Seems like that would open up more options for you to advance your hobby into turbines or who knows what....plus the camaraderie is usually very good. Lots to be learned there. I will stay subscribed to your channel and enjoy your flying skills with a periodic wince or rolling of my eyes from time to time... ;) Enjoy your weekend. V
I agree you cannot replace a life- and I knew you were going to go there. however, you may have noticed that there are no sidewalks, no pedestrians and not even cars for that matter. only 8 houses on my street and all lots are well over an acre. what if I told you the odds of someone getting hurt are even less than the flying field- there's no spectators... I fly turbines at my ama field, camaraderie is great. again I only fly foam in the hood for a reason.
surely you know what the FAA did to the rules for drones,,,, and your flying in your neighborhood and videoing it will fuel the anti RCers to show to the FAA and more fuel will be added to the RULES for regular airplanes,, ,,, this is a very bad practice you have and it does not matter how good you are at flying,,, ole USN vet and RCing since 1965
Maybe try and pick up your flaps right after touchdown.... it might help with wanting to go airborne again. If you have brakes, picking up the flaps makes braking more effective......concept came from full-scale flying into short fields needing max braking. V
Only problem with that is the flaperons are pinned stationary as stated in the video :s
Guess I should have paid closer attention to the master in the video.
Spencer, I used to fly at 19th Ave & Bell Rd. I'd like some info on the retract replacement you did on this LX F-16.
shoot me an email. Spencerkleinhans@gmail.com
Hi, I building LX F-16 now and I don't know how setup missile under the wing. I checking manual but hard to understand it because too small photos and cloudy. can you send me a picture to my email? jin909@msn.com Thanks.
look out Barry, it's a fly !!!!
Maybe some day when you grow up you will have a turbine powered F-16 with an Isreali paint scheme on it with a scorpion on the tail
Hector, maybe you will too!! I've been working on it! I'd like to have it done by end of April. I think I'm going to do a Moroccan scheme because it would be a jewdoc plane and we can't have that. LOL.
+Spencer K I did nazi that coming,did Jew??
Oh for god's sake, F' me !!!!!
Oh Christ!
You need to fire your camera man. Horrible camera work.
can you let me know if your still making this set i am interested email is justfrank26@yahoo.com
Kool mods mate, its gd ref for those folks who're interested in this model lol :)
Big thumbs up for yr gorgeous flying in such amazing field dude :-) Btw, dunno if there's an uneven pt(s) on the concrete rd, which makes a little bit of bumpy taxying lol.
yeah my street's pavement is ready for re-paving! Just uploaded another video on this plane on my channel, be sure to check it out!
OK great I was just wonderibg because I have the same rc model and wasn't sure how the plane would behave to a 50% throw but thank you for the advice
I don't use dual rates, I just use about 30-35% expo. i don't measure the throws either. I just use what I feel "looks right." If you need throws for your model feel free to reference my video during the flight control check.
What were your dual rates
And just curious because I own the same model but havnt flown it yet what trim did you have it on more up? Or more down? And what percentage were your dual rates at
Did she survive?
Nice!
Awesome performance! Might get your intake ducting for my next Thunderbird F-16, if funding is not a problem :)
i still make em. just email me when ready! spencerkleinhans@gmail.com thanks
very intrested in both the landing gears and duct work.. my email is ldmiller8@yahoo.com
Can you please tell me how to get the custom duct for this jet?
hi douglas: you can paypal gift me $80 to spencerkleinhans@gmail.com for the intake kit. instructions for installation as well as other great information is located here: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1173244&page=52
Nice lookin plane. Though you should try some of the slow electric powered gliders. They're easier on the eyes since they are bigger and slower, and they get great views with gopro on em'
