Bought the same set of BC Coilovers for my JZX100. Do you remember the torque specs you used?

If youre building a racecar, I wouldnt worry about the bay, its in great condition as it is, theres no rust that you have to treat. Racing can be expensive, save the cash on consumables/repairs. It would be a shame to do all that work and then something happens & you need to tube frame the front end. Also the more money you put into this, the harder it will be to drive the limit (if thats what you want)

Might as well get the bay painted professionally since you’re 90% there and do it once and never have to regret not doing it. Also should powder coat the front subframe like nismo silver. Black with rainbow flake is cool but hard to see any leaks with a dark bay. Light color bay or paint matched would be better imo. Build turning out sick as always

Were these the original camshafts? How many miles on them? I have brand new tomei poncams i will be installing along with a tomie belt kit and cam gears. Do you know if you just had it too tight?
