The Imperial Library of Constantinople, founded in the 4th century, preserved ancient Greek and Roman manuscripts for 1000 years!

So interesting to see parallels to early Christian intolerance and iconoclasm in 2021. Not just in the actions of ISIS and the Taliban but in attitudes and morality of the BLM movement, the social justice warriors, cancel culture and the Woke movement in general.
