Where’s everyone at? WTF FURDOG? People are so???
15:43
this is so incredible to hear a live cut of this song. Frank Marino will always be one of the greats
Jimmy added double bass drums. Sounds great!
Furdog. Where you born in 1961. I was. Any way thanks. God bless I’ve been a subscriber for long time. You Rock!!!
What was cool about thee Ripley in Philly. Everyone was just watching. No talking! This rocks! Thanks Furdog!!!
That Tremelo bar used for slide affects is too cool!!! Thanks for sharing!
Have you checked out "Rock Me Baby" from (Cleveland 2000) on my channel? Frank goes even farther near the end of that tune with that technique, and almost makes it sound like an acoustic dobro playing swamp blues. He uses a clean sound with low distortion. It's next level. Jeff Beck territory. " This is mind blowing as well: 'Electric Reflections" (Foxboro 2010) The best version ever!
@@FURDOG1961 yes. And I saw him many times. 1st being 1975. Awsome every time. I like him even more than Jeff Beck. He was excellent too. Thanks!
@@FURDOG1961 this is one of the tributes I’ve done for Mahogany Rush. When Jimmy Ayoub passed I did this from Maxoom. Thanks again. th-cam.com/video/PN7irxGl7ok/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0VP4iPDwdhDBlUcI
Thanks Furdog! You’re the man!
Glad I could help in a small way. People should hear this stuff.
Marino makes people jealous and stop playing guitar
Was at this show at the Park West club that showcased guitar talent on Armitage❤
Nobody can touch Frank’s skills and talent.
When it comes to the greatest guitarist, let's be Frank... enough said!!!
I've seen him 6 times but this is very different. Impressive.
5:52 6:40
If it hadnt been for my closest friend i would have never heard of Frank. Fortunately that was 45 years ago. How drab life would have been without him.
5:38 8:35
Frank always stole the show live too with no problem.
Way way underrated,he created sounds on his guitar like no other, way better showman as well ,one of the very best of his time.
Frank was the best, dont makeum like this no more.
Saw them at the old Cleveland football stadium . Around 1977ish. They opened for Aerosmith and the headliner was Rod Stewart.
RIP Jimmy Ayoub...........amazing drummer.
Great song.
Russ what is this
Saw them first time in 1975. Many times after! Thanks for this awsome post!
Outside of Frank, (I hope he is well) I wonder what the other 3 have been up to or have gone through in the last 45 years. I know Vince was more into this, a kind of Jazzy thing-trip. Anybody know?
Excellent version
Where is the video ? Say music only if it is so
3:04 4:45
Furdog. Thanks so much bro! Beautiful
I like Franks version best.
Never heard this. Guy before .Very good , he's got the spirit of the song and that mystical mood .
You should listen to more Try the Strange Universe album!
Listen to Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush Live. One of Canada's great musicians.
Live is one of rocks best recordings.
Who DOES this to a Little Richard song??!?! Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush; THAT'S who!!!!!! Just...............WOW!!!!!!
Little Richard sang this? I've always thought it was a James Brown song.
@@DaleBrotherton Yeah! I think you're right. I meant James Brown.
Strange Universe was the first album I got from MR and it's my favorite!! I was just a teenager when my older my brother had the 8-track in his car and I was hooked after he played it for me. I also love the album art.
I would love to hear the complete concert!! Any chance you have a link to it?
Wow! Nice! Never heard him do this! Truly a master! My favorite guitarist of all time ❤🎉
9:11 11:20 12:05 Whimsical, laughing blowing wind.
I wish you would stop stealing MY recordings and uploading them here without an info of the date/venue/city etc...
This is a great version of this song. Thank you to whoever posted it.
Rare live version, absolutely nails it as only Frank & Co. can. Thanks for posting btw! If I could add one more song to the epic agora DVD, this would be the one.
You don't deserve to hear music like this, please go back to piddily diddly, and scoop doggy doo, & gee I pee, and any other clown who runs his mouth and uses nursery rhymes with swear words.
Are you sure you don't want to listen to SCOOP DOGGY DOO & watch him in his CLOWN COSTUME & BUFFOON SHOES , SPEWING NURSERY RHYMES & SWEAR WORDS, PRETENDING HE'S IMPORTANT???????????
This guy is BAD.
Kinda pisses ME off that people keep stealing MY recordings and uploading them in pieces without any credit whatsoever.
Thanks! This is awesome!! I listen to it every few days. Thanks for posting!!!
Where to you find this stuff. I have been a fan for decades and have seen Frank live many time but the Like a Rolling Stone blew my mind
Wow. Never heard this. Where was this in 1979? Thanx for posting it.
Selland Arena, Fresno, CA.
@@FURDOG1961 I can’t believe this was fresrag ca. I was in 7th or 8th grade when Angel, mahogany rush played Fresno in 1980. Humble pie was also on the bill. Only the kids with older brothers got to see the show. Randy hanson also played Fresno 1980 at warners or star palace. Again the same kids who went to angel concert, said they saw Jimi Hendrix. Even I knew Jimi Hendrix was gone.
Did I just hear Cat Scratch Fever? :D
Only thing I wasn’t crazy about was how much Hendrix helped him to be recognized. When he downplayed all that I was disappointed. Anyway. I’ll never turn my back on the influence Jimi made in my life. It’s just Frank has way more talent😂
Finally got my chance to see frank Marino... 3-22-88 at Crackers night club in las Vegas. I tried to get the album "Tales of the Unexpected" signed by the one and only... after many attempts to get inside his tour bus i wound up instead getting my ass kicked in by 4 bouncers. To this day im convinced that I was probably one of maybe 4 people in the entire club that even knew who mahogany rush was.
Frank Marino masterpiece! Never experienced this song live. Out of the 10 Live concerts from Mahogany Rush. Real Live has this tune. But this is a fantastic version of Tales of the Unexpected!
Try giving some credit to those who made this release possible !
