Xpert WR-4401 waterproof servo gets a dunking..
มุมมอง 8479 ปีที่แล้ว
We've been asked several times about how waterproof they actually are, so we did some digging and realised that the IP67 rating that the WR-4401 and WR-6601 have means they are waterproof to 1m! We think these are probably about as good as waterproff servos get, certainly we dont see anything else with the same speed ratings; The WR-4401 (4.8-6.6v) is rated at 0.85secs at (18.4kg) 6.0v and 0.07...
Answer-RC .21 Nitro Carb Closer Spring Throttle Return ANSEXS004

A short video about the new carb closing springs from Answer-RC. ANSEXS004
Blablablablabla
What is the cut off time? Is this 70.3 or full distance? Thanks
What you recommend for a truggy?
THIS MADE ME SO EMOTIONAL! LOOK AT THAT SUPPORT
So what head shim do I use for 20%?
I agree with a previous poster , a nice pull start motor would be sweet to add to the line.... and maybe eventually a .12 engine? I'd like to try a Nova engine, which one would you recommend if it is to end up in a Truggy? The T6 Evo or one of the normal .21 mills....? Cheers
Still going well too, I heard a roomer they’re bringing a .28 out is that true?
That engine looks aweome 😆
You guys NEED to make a .28 bump start and pull start for all of us who are bashers!! There’s like nobody left making quality 28’s, so I feel like if you did make one then you’d have a monopoly on that size engine. I’d get multiple of them for sure!!! Pleasssssse!!
buy the outlaw .24, put a bigger cooling head and run an Ielasi v3 gt manifold and a 9886 with a .70 stack on 30% and its insane!!!!! Crushes a modded 28-7/8/9 or any other big bore engine.I hope they make a .24 version of it...maybe w a 10+mm carb :). seriously the outlaw w thar set up will blow your mind. i have a couple modded .24r's, many 28s, romas ,32s, the outlaw is in class by itself for what you are looking for...even off the bottom !!! king daddy nitro for all out power and rpm
I think one of these is gonna be my treat to myself this year 😂😅
Look very nice
I've seen a number of videos on TH-cam showing some build quality issues. Have Nova sorted out their quality control yet?
Rody engine bo3 very good power?
❤❤❤❤❤🎉
This is slightly tongue in cheek but I think they closed after they showed their engine break in process in a TH-cam video .😮 20mins at wide open throttle with a plane prop on it . It put me off a bit.
That video came out in like 2006
Ive been racing the B3R and its pretty quick. After a couple of races...the carb pops out even though how much you tighten screw on the pinch bolt. you know how to fix this?
Will they be doing parts for any of the older engines
Thanks Peter.
Nice one man get one running hardly any videos yet gonna grab one off ya soon!! You got any old nova rossi pipes sitting about so hard to find one?
I got a few, new sitting around.
@@red7fifty no way that’s like gold these days you got any on road ones you wanna sell
There’s a few videos in here now of people taking their new engines apart and finding some interesting things. Have you seen them?
Will you ship to the US? Nobody in us seems to have anything in stock or if they do they only get 2-3 and there gone
Pop me a mail sales@answer-rc.com or find me on FB 👍
They’re a lot more expensive on your website than you say in this video 😂 Edit: it helps if you look at the right engine.
They shouldn’t be, maybe you are looking in USD, I was quoting UK GBP pricing the B3 should be as I mentioned. Let me know
@@PeterEdern1 yeah don’t worry it is, bought one this afternoon 😄 sorry for the confusion i was looking at the wrong engine.
Great info👍
Nice review 👍
Glad you liked it. I’m just so pleased to have Nova alive 👍
It is awesome mate I’ll be picking up a couple 👍
Good stuff. Thanks for the video and info.
No problem - its easy with enthusiasm!
awesome effort
Own up, who went and registered for next year after watching this?
Four hundred-and-thirty quid to spend up to 17 solid hours killing yourself? Not me but I spent the first to last of the cyclists (8:06 AM on his first lap until the backmarker at 4:10PM on his last lap) watching them pass through our part of Tottington, Bury. I cheered and clapped them on until I almost lost my voice and had bruised palms. It was magnificent.
@@bodsnvimto Yeah, not cheap, but for us amateurs there's one, maybe 2 a year. The Lakesman based from Keswick is good and a bit cheaper. Sadly I can't do that one next year.
@@deanb61 If you are racing next year, please let us know if you are given your number in advance, I'll look out for you.
@@bodsnvimto Well, at 61 I'm not sure I'd describe what I do as racing :) I will be participating, not sure when I'll get the number, paying in 3 instalments, so I guess sometime after the final payment.
@@deanb61 If it's like this year's event you'll not get your no. until the last minute, so if this is the case I'll look out for a bloke with a slightly salt'n'pepper beard and DEAN on his back. Good luck with it, whether I see you or not. The 63yr-old bloke who lives next door but one to me is competing in this year's Barca event in Oct. When he signed up, the shutoff point was a rather tight 16hrs but it has since been further reduced to 15hrs and 40mins. Shame I'll not be there to cheer him on
Heroic effort.
Epic Dave, just epic... !
Bloody brilliant - great achievement and what a crowd so late on
what a hero, I saw him head out on the last lap just as i was finishing. Simply incredible determination and mindset.
And how did you do with it good sir? Your first time? What time did you set? At which points were your highs and lows both physical and mental? And what unexpected issues did you come up against? Maybe you saw me, maybe you were one of many to respond to myself and others in Tottington as we clapped, cheered and shouted words of encouragement to you all as you came past on your bikes. I watched it from the leader whizzing down past the end of our street just prior to turning left towards Greenmount at 8:06am, until the dreadfully suffering backmarker on his last lap making the right turn from Hawkshaw to Edgworth at 4:10pm. In the meantime I spent most of it towards the top of that long climb from the Victoria pub in Walshaw to the flattening off into Affetside. As I shouted many times, in many similar ways and synonyms on the day, YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!!!!
It was an amazing and emotional day! Amazing to see him cross the finish line !
Wow, love it , that tenacity to keep going is such a thing that he should be proud of. Fantastic 👍
Got right emotional watching that. Fantastic.
What diameter is the flywheel? Can’t the the info anywhere’s thanks
