there was never a miracle as most of the so called economic miracle happened due to massive funding by so called first world countries. The promises made by Kagame, as an automotive plant and other promises did never happen and were massively overexaggerated. Yes, tourism and the exploitation by rich westerners seems to be working to a certain extend but paying several thousand dollars just to see a gorilla is not everybodies thing is it? Ruanda is still financed by foreign powers with up to 60 % of their budget. So not a miracle but a charity as it looks like.
