Never met him but dine annually at one of his branches but seeing this and other videos, you can see his personality masallah. Considering his sad passing, so much of this interview is prophetic when he talks about his daughters and about finding faith recently which would have been six months ago perhaps when he might have been diagnosed. May Allah SWT grant him a safe journey to the next life and blessings of sabr to his daughters and family 😢

Bash was simply one in a million.. he always made time for all his customers, he never forgot your name upon entering the restaurant and always asked how family was or how your day was and that made a big difference, you always felt special.. Paul who runs Eastgate also had the same ethic as Bash and is exactly the same.. this podcast is absolutely brilliant and if this was done knowing Bash’s illness then WOW.. 2 great guys sat right there! Condolences to all Bash’s friends and family. He’s irreplaceable.. RIP Bash 😢
