You hit the nail on the head in the beginning. There’s a lot of damming information about both MHJ and Hybe. The reality is that we don’t know the full extent of what’s going on or what those girls are going through. We don’t KNOW their relationship with MHJ. Most of what we know is speculation. There’s even been doubt cast on the “evidence” that we do have for both parties. We only know how the girls feel based on what they said themselves. The KPop community (and the internet at large) are so quick to cast judgement without the complete facts. They’ll bully someone into oblivion but then it comes out that they were wrong and the story wasn’t that way we originally thought. It has happened SO MANY TIMES.

These people are hilarious and are chronically online cyber bullying. You can tell these bullies can get away saying crap because they're hiding behind a screen. I do think everglowup's two part series on this feud will give you a very factual understanding of the entire situation as it is very objective and well-researched as opposed to some other content you'd find on the topic. Also, I do sympathize with Hanni and understand her personal feelings of hurt regarding the incident where she was ignored, but I want people to remember that MHJ has really played dirty by dragging certain groups under HYBE through the mud during very vulnerable times of their career. Unfortunately, whether or not the members of NJ personally approved of that move, by publicly and unconditionally supporting MHJ, they have also supported the unnecessary humiliation of the members of those groups even though MHJ's beef was with HYBE. If I was one of those members, or the manager of a team I really cared about, I would not want them interacting with NJ, and neither would I care about someone's feelings getting hurt - especially when they support the woman who has taken advantage of a very strange stage in their careers, where they have already been made target of malicious hate. Actions have consequences. I am not trying to villainize the girls, like I said for them to feel bad for being othered is not wrong. But this entire situation is bigger than that. If you support the person who is responsible for a big problem that the company YOU WORK UNDER is facing, whether or not you or the person you are supporting is right... that's gonna have some counter reaction. Now ofc Hanni did not name any groups or artists, so I don't want to make assumptions, but its a very simple logic - the friend of your enemy is your enemy. MHJ has caused a lot of damage to many artists of HYBE by unnecessarily dragging them in a feud which could have done without their inclusion. For those artists to be frustrated, not only at MHJ but also her supporters is not unjustified, just as Hanni being hurt about that incident is not unjustified. By acting as if such behavior was unprovoked, as if you haven't expressed support for MHJ multiple times... I am sorry but no wonder they didn't hesitate to be rude. They are humans, just as Hanni and the other members of NJ are, and they must be feeling that them being dragged through mud by MHJ was unfair. Overall, this emotional rant on a very complicated and multifaceted matter made the members look very unprofessional and immature - and the reason I talk about Hanni's description of the incident specifically is because that stood out to me in its short sightedness and demonstrated very well their lack of understanding of the bigger picture. Which makes sense, cause they are just kids! Ofc they are emotional about this situation and I am sure they thought what they were doing was the right professional and mature move. I am just shocked that nobody in their existing team stopped them because this was no the right move at all. I am sure the only people who very moved by this vdo were there fans, and others will just view it as them trying to victimize themselves (which isn't entirely true - yes they are kids and sucks that they are in the middle of this mess and clearly no one, not even MHJ has their best artistic interests at heart but also - they made the CHOICE to support MHJ while still working under HYBE so the flack they are getting is not ENTIRELY unearned) and villainize not only HYBE (which would be fair) but also beloved artists under HYBE who have very dedicated following, maybe even more so than NJ. By letting the members go through with this, their teams have proved beyond any doubt that they don't have their best interest at hearts, as this will only lead to them being targeted for hate again.

New jeans are acting just like a spoiled brats. They are forgetting that they are employees under hybe. They should be the one adjusting and following orders and not other way around. If they don't like the new management just leave/resign instead of doing this drama to get sympathy from people

They are just brave enough to whistle blow on mistreatment by these labels, they want to control and own their artists completely and achieve that through manipulation and harassment.

Min Hee Jin used to be under SM, she's the creator of many Kpop concepts of big groups, she is a very important figure in Kpop for her creative direction. But she left SM due to overwork and moved to Hybe (where BTS is), at Hybe, she became the CEO of Ador (HYBE's sub label). She handpicked New Jeans' line up, created the y2k aesthetic concept and CREATED new jeans. Then Hybe debut Illit, and illit HAS THE SAME AESTHETIC AND CONCEPT. MHJ accused Hybe of copying New Jeans and her work. Right now, MHJ is fired as CEO of Ador, leaving the Girls under the care of a new manager and control under Hybe so New Jeans released a livestream to explain where they stand which is a big move in Kpop because mistreatment usually isn't reported Hybe still controls New Jeans & Ador so they can delete content

Ther ex producer (Min Hee Jin) who got moved out of the CEO position as she had attempted to take the company with detailed plot. Luckily she got caught in the early stage right before she and others were about to implement the plot. As a result, the ex producer potentially lost 100 million dollar stock option. Thses poor and talented girls have been gaslighted by the ex producer and they somehow think that HYBE the company is trying to harm them somehow. This is going to get ugly. Only ones getting hurt in between are those girls. If they want to get free from the contract, they would have to pay back 600 million dollars. No company can afford that kind of money. HYBE is probably not gonna be too keen on this group from now on. Most likly they will be cancelled in the company until the contract gets expired which is for another 5 or 6 more years. I think that New Jeans is over. too bad.

if illit or lsf or whoever decided they didn't want to be friends with NewJeans anymore because of the MHJ feud, I would respect their decision, but managers coming in and saying "ignore them" when the girls just want to be nice is so bad

What I understood about this drama: 1.MHJ and Hybe legal battle: Hybe accused MHJ to try to separate Ador from Hybe and take NJ with her by manipulating social opinion with rumors, decreasing Ador value and forcing Hybe to sell Ador's shares, also Hybe accused MHJ of embezzlement, that's why Hybe demanded MHJ to step down of her position as CEO. MHJ denied this and said the conflict was because she complained about plagiarism actions towards NJ' music and concept by Illit's company and because Bang PD was jealous of her success with NJ, so Hybe wanted to fire her, at the end both sides didn't want to work with each other because Hybe didn't trust MHJ and MHJ wanted independence of Hybe. About the NJ extra content: Ador asked the director of NJ's music videos to erase the clips where the logo brand of an sponsor of the music video appears in the extra content that this director uploaded in another channel that aren't the officials of the group or Hybe because the sponsor didn't want their brand to appear in that channel, I think they asked to remove the image (where their faces can be seen) of NJ members too because copyright issues, the director was very offended by this because he had an agreement with MHJ to use those extra clips and upload them on his channel and said he was threatened by Ador's new management to take down all the content with NJ in it because copyright issues, he said that it was unfair because the new management didn't respect the old agreement and he had the right to upload this content because it was his work and he has the old permission to do it and Hybe was a liar and he didn't want to work with them anymore. My opinion of this situation is that NJ is making unreasonable demands because at the end of the day they are just employees of Hybe, they can't force Hybe to hire MHJ again and give her the management and production rights again just for them to feel "comfortable" , it doesn't work like that in business, also they are complaining of things that are small matters, I mean, they're there to work not to make friends, after all that happened with MHJ and their actions of support towards their ex-ceo of course this was expected to happen, also we need to take in consideration that Bang PD and their team get along well with other Hybe artists and employees and what did MHJ and NJ did? Drag other Hybe artists in this mess and backstab the man who sponsored their project since the beginning, after that for sure their work environment won't be as peaceful as before, so instead to be low key and try to keep going with what they got for now to avoid more problems on their work, what did they do? Badmouth their boss and rise threats against their company, we all now this isn't gonna end well. I understand NJ members, MHJ is all for them and is a pity they can't work with her anymore, but this doesn't erase the fact that they are problematic employees and what happens with this kind of people at work? Context, the girls are pleading for their CEO to be reinstated to her previous position. However, she is facing lawsuits from prior a prior employee due to SA. All the content we are seeing is superficial as we are not directly involved in the case. So take everything with a grain of salt. Regarding the manager’s comment, what if the manager made that comment about something totally unrelated to Hanni? There are a lot of gray areas here. We only get what one side presents and form our bias assumption based on that.
