This channel will show Microsoft Flight Simulator flights at Delaware, Maryland and Virginia Airports. As well as some popular locations. Some are small local airfields, some will be regional. Just to show what the area looks like from the air. MSFS does an outstanding job in representing current images. Different type of airplanes and helicopters will be used. If you have a location you would like to see, please leave comments in the videos. This is by no means a professional production, just fun. I am FAA rated fixwing and roterywing pilot. Simulation is just as fun. Also, check out my vids on RUMBLE "LOTUS6"

Tammy! I need her to be an avatar in the sim Larry! How did you get her? Shes got my hair. I want my blond hair in the sim. LOL You fly the helis good.
@RobisonRacing68 she is a Ai did...most of the ladies you see in my vids are Ai I designed. I have flown helis for about 40 years. So...the Sim is fairly easy.
It appears when fs24 gets here..you will have a chance to make your Avatar blond... I love blond hair ladies with big....🤪
hi where could i get this aerolite 103 files
do you have Microsoft Flight sim?
Cool video! That 130 is pretty well detailed! A bit of a handful to fly 😎👍
learning curve
AI generated , I wanted to see some actual flying , no hands on yoke. No traffic on the ground ,COME ON GET REAL
@Kahoona741 go to a real airport then. Pretty simple.
Why no autopilot😭
@@Robbe_VB I let Ai copilot fly...basically same thing
@@outdoorsdelmarva5691 😭😭😭💀

Flying in Scotland is fun!
Scenery is good for sure.
But not centreline
@minetiger4848 yes...I! Ai flew the approach.. usually if there is wind, they can't seem to land centerline..
So cool
Im a student pilot and fly out of here in real life! (and on vatsim)
I have flown a Beech 18 in there several times, a few years ago. Its a big ass airport...and busy!! LOL
Cool video! Super high def! That beav looks good 😎
You need to remember and practice standard right or left landing pattern. So you never loose sight of the airport. Overfly the airport and make your turn to enter the pattern 1000ft agl downwind leg, mid field. Give yourself time! slow her down and get her trimmed while flying the downwind and base. Get yourself settled on the upwind buy mid field so you can slow to flap speeds. Get your gear down and settled before turning Base. Land the aircraft buy flying the same pattern over and over just like it's a light single. Watch a few pattern videos. Fly both left and right pattern. Soon You will be able to get in and out of about any back country airport. Just practice your pattern. th-cam.com/video/ac5c8nXSO0s/w-d-xo.html All the best. Ron
@imzzaudae thanks...I have been flying real planes and helicopters for 40 years.. my videos are for simulation not official instruction. As you probably know, aircraft in simulation is not even close to real deal. So doing actual airmanship on the simulation will not be the same. You should do some videos, they would be educational for sure.. thanks for watching.
@@outdoorsdelmarva5691 I find practising good airmen ship in the sim make all the difference. So does a nice yoke and throttle. Unfortunately, I am not well. Last stages of life with cancer. Time is growing very short for me unable to make videos. Who knows maybe this conversation will help someone struggling with landings. Thanks for the reply. Ron
@imzzaudae god bless you...enjoy the time you have!
Nice flight, still hanging out in the UK.
@@FlightSimVRDad so much to see there for sure...beautiful scenery. Maybe meet you there in the Sim someday.
Nice flight! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for posting. I know this is a sim, and in real life a straight in approach is legal if you have confirmed via unicom no one is in the preferred left hand pattern, and announced your intentions in case anyone is about to enter the pattern, but perhaps actually flying the published pattern will be more helpful to newly minted pilots who are looking for a scenic and more challenging destination. For example, Mid Island out of ISP & HWV no longer allows their rentals to land at Block, unless you're with a CFI. You would think their insurance would allow, after demonstrating proficiency with a CFI, for getting signed off. Even though my log shows multiple trips prior to this new rule, as well as multiple flights to Catalina Island 26 miles west of LAX, the insurance companies rule the roost. Thanks again!
very interesting..i try to mix up my approaches ...just depends on how i feel. also, the length of the video...i cut this one big time. but i umderstand your point! thanks for watching.
Great video and it is such a lovely airport. I too break a lot of rules to save time in my content. I started taking lessons close by in Chester CT and ❤flying over that part of the Sound. Thanks a bunch for sharing and have a great weekend -Mike

didn't like the use of fuel cut off?
@@outdoorsdelmarva5691 emergency fuel cut off. but enjoy watching your vids
@@pie.lot.bliksem roger that. Section 4 dictates to pull the fuel cut off, located on the bottom shelf of the center consol;e. I do not have head tracking, so to make it easier to shut down I pull the cutoff lever on the dash. Thanks for watching my videos.
@@outdoorsdelmarva5691 My section 4 subsection 13 on normal procedures especially the engine/aircraft shutdown does not include use of fuel cut off except in caution regarding an afterfire which can occur during shutdown if fuel cut off is not complete and is recognized by a rapid increase in TOT. Section 3 is for emergency and the simulator calls that switch 'emergency fuel cut off', and it is used extensively there, not Section 4. Normal fuel cut off is through twistgrip.

Hi Betty.....Not sure why you do not see feet. My video playback shows feet on the rudder pedels.
Very nice flight. The detail is pretty impressive especially on the railways. Definitely have to do a night flight 👍
Wow, those were some major cells. Had one come through Milford that tore up houses in Eastman Heights.
It was bad looking in Sussex County...storm went fast through Kent County eastbound.
Nice work! I like the lighting and playing hide and seek in the rain squalls.
Nice flight and you inspired me to give Bristol a flyover since the World Update came to town. I am amazed at the dramatic improvement at 500'. I did notice things are not as sharp at 200' but still this is a huge improvement. Thanks for sharing!
I am so impressed with the new scenery in the UK. Very cool that you were able to find your friends house. They figured out a way to get the bridges, roads and even street lamps right. Some doesn't stand up to close scrutiny but at 1000 feet is looks good enough.
Series S is a doorstop. Go get a nice used Series X and an 86"4K UHD TV and it's fantastic at true 4K.
going to get a new computer for the new 2024 sim.
You sound American, made me surprised to see that you were exploring Brighton in MSFS but perhaps you are one of the lovely expats that have moved here, or maybe just a flight simmer looking to showcase one of the areas that received an update in the latest patch! Either way, thanks for this video, I haven't been able to get onto the sim to explore it myself, and as a Brightonian myself, I was extremely excited to see that Brighton had received a whole update in the latest patch, so thanks for the video!
Scottish desent. Been to England, Scotland and Ireland a few times. Its a beautiful location to fly. I will be doing another Brighton flight tonight, but more of a perimeter flight around it. Hope you will enjoy that, maybe see your house..lol I live in Delaware, USA...good guess! haha..
There are at.least another 5 different paint schemes they could have added.

They have done super!
Wow, cool heli! It definitely reminds me of a baby Huey! 👍😎
I saw the Cub in the thumbnail and it made me click on this. I started with FS2 but haven't played MSFS in years (since Microsoft Flight! came out and broke it for me). I think it was MSFS 2004 where I flew a Cub from the tip of Argentina to Arizona just following visible landmarks. Also flew the cub from New York to San Francisco just using a road map. Those flights took forever. Anyway. This is much improved over that.
you should get back in . MSFS is releasing a brand new Sim in Nov. its suppose to be crazy good! love the J3...always a joy to see scenery in. thanks for watching....!!
Nice flight and cool airport. I am going to fly at Sandown today I just got the scenery yesterday. I am thinking about doing a before and after the World Update. BBD just rocks small airfields.
thanks my friend! England is very nice to fly! i wish the US coukd gt the same attention. hopefull FS 24 will make the difference!!

Nice flight and decent landing.
I had my foot preessed on the right rudder pedal on landing.....YIKES...not good. LOL

Nice flight! Have you tried the new Curtiss C-46? I like it better then the DC-3 even without the GPS which would be a nice touch to it. it is much bigger, more powerful and has greater range than the 3.
yes..I did a video on it. the second day it was out. Its very imersive. Flys great!

Not a periscope, but a sextant. In the prehistoric days before GPS, long distance travel was managed with celestial navigation, hence the sextant.
