There are a few things to take care of, but I live in it for some time now and really like it. The kitchen is still to be painted, the rail around the terrace is on the floor... I'm busy with my professional job. Little time to build now!

Can you make a video someday?

I was thinking to make a video after I paint the kitchen (the last room to paint actually). This task has been delayed and delayed... because of my other activities, and the presence of my mum here for 6 weeks. I hope I will take care of that in June! :) I think there are a few more recent pictures on the FaceBook page. (the link is not working here, look for "My Funky House")

Since I'm living in this house... I "can't find time" to make a video of it! The kitchen is still to be painted, but the rest is pretty much finished. I've been many months away, in Brazil and a few countries in Europe...

Minha primeira ideia (eu vivia no Brasil na altura) era fazer uma tiny house, mas quando vi o preço dos chassis de reboques em Portugal (5000€ minimum. sem contar com o carro para puxar!!!)... A opção de construir em cima de pilares apareceu vantajosa em termos de dimensões, preço e conforto. Hoje voltei a vida de musico profissional, mas ainda estou fazendo trabalhos. Tenho muitos projectos ainda: turbinas de vento, churrasco, rocket stove hoven, hortinha, ... Tambem comecei a tratar do terreno, limpei de baixo de muitas arvores, plantei algumas arvores, e alcachofras que tinha de outro lugar onde morava.

Quando for a Portugal vou tentar passar ai! Nao so para ver a casa mas para aprender algo de musica! :) Sempre foi um sonho meu, mas à algum tempo que desisti.. Quanto gastou ao todo no projecto e terreno? E que programa usou para o desenho? Tudo o que fez ficou excelente. E a area tambem parece muito boa!

Até agora gastei por volta de 18K€ no total. Consegui algumas coisas de graça, mas ideias falhadas me custaram tambem! Ainda tenho despezas a frente, mas de menor valor. Usei SketchUp para o projecto. É gratuito e fácil de entender. www.sketchup.com/ O terreno é bem localizado: 15mn do centro de Faro, 20mn do aeroporto, 4mn de Olhão (com 5 ou 6 supermercados). Ha um acampamento de ciganos um pouco mais a baixo, mas a area é muito segura. Quem veio passar algum tempo aqui ficou logo conquistado!!! A isolação termica ficou mesmo boa. Muitas coisas ficaram um pouco tortas, vou ter que desmontar e remontar o soalho, o sistema de água precisa de ser repensado... Mas obrigado pelos parabens :) Para a música, posso dar muitas dicas, mas não gosto de dar aulas (já dei...) Acho que a internet tem todas as aulas que 90% de nos precisa.

Abouts the law here in Portugal, it's a long story!!!... My land is for "farming only", so, I'm not supposed to build more than a 60m2 building with foundations (a "warehouse"). My house is considered a "not-permanent" construction, because there are no foundations, no sewers, no heating system and built more than 50cm from the floor, and that's why I didn't need an authorization... Depending on where you do this, you can have different reactions from the local council. In some districts (close to the shore in particular) where there are too many of these kinds of house (with ship containers too), local authority started to chase new ones... The best tips I had were to talk with local achitects and real estate professionals. For the techniques used, check Larry Haun on TH-cam.

Jono Rezzillo I made 3 mini bass so far. The latest 8 one is nearly 3 inches longer at the low A than a Jbass scale. This blue one is a "normal" length of a Jbass at the A. It was the prototype. Since I've noticed that the scale can be longer, as the positions are just different. The longer the scale, the fater the sound is.
