Why do hairstylists always have the worst hair 😅
thanks for the video, I'll try that out!
Great cut
Awesome haircut
That's me! Vinni is the man. I was smiling ear to ear all afternoon!
Thank you! You saved my shears 😊
Breakthrough info. Very helpful. Thank you. Already looking for a good brand.
I like working with sheers more than using trimmers. It's time for a swivel. Thank you.
I'm not a hairdresser, but I love cutting my family's and friends' hair and watching people cut hair. U taught me more about something I'll never buy than I've ever learned about anything related to hair! This was an awesome, very interesting video.
Where does the nylon washer sit?
Great video.
I just won a giveaway from Milday sponsoring your shears!
Promo-SM 😡
Is the swivel in this video single or double?
😮❤❤❤
I got some Damascus shears and they DO NOT look like this.
$1600 for these babies 😬
I’m a dog groomer and I get carpel tunnel really bad. I’m placing an order today! Excited!
Send me a free pair
This is great. Thanks lady!
This is fascinating, im in week 3 of school, have to get them!
thank you for posting this i take apart my shark fins biweekly and i always have to come back to this vid to make sure i did it correctly
Great. Thanks.
double swivel or just swivel pair is better than the other? Thanks
Hello! Swivel is better than non swivel and super swivel is better than swivel. Keep in mind, all of our swivel shears can be upgraded to a super swivel.
@@sharkfinshears7839 super swivel is double swivel ..? And secondly that magic that your range of swivel can be integrated to double swivel ...very impressive. I would like to hear from your confirmation. Thanks again.
Hello! Yes, our super swivel is also referred to as a double swivel.
Ordered my super swivel!!! finslized the purchase this morning!!! I'm so excited!!!❤️❤️❤️
As a new dog groomer who is a lefty I appreciate you looking out for the lefties
Shark fin parts are the best simple and functional I have seen . Almost impossible for someone to put them back together the wrong way!
Thank you ...and I loved " it's nice to be nice".
You're welcome 😊
Could you tell me the difference between a double swivel and a single swivel? Which one is better?
The main difference is the double swivel allows for a rotation up & down (north & south) as well as left & right (east & west). The double swivel allows for a more ergonomically correct rotation of the thmb. It is a big benefit to any artist who is double jointed in the fingers. BOTH are a huge improvement over the non swivel shear.
Thank you so much for this. Is it better to to get a double swivel or single swivel for a beginner?
Hello. The natural transition is from a non swivel to a swivel. Also, all of our swivels can be upgraded to a swivel simply by purchasing the super swivel part. This way you do not have to purchase a new shear.
Thanks for the help!
Hello! Do you have grooming shears? So these shears are great for fatigue. I personally don’t have wrist problems and I pray I never do but I do get at times fatigue. The shears that I have now are heavy and they give me fatigue. Thank you for this video though! ❤
Hello Azra!! We do have Grooming shears. You can find them here. www.sharkfinshears.com

Thank you!
Hey Randy. Thanks for putting out a video on probably one of the most asked questions to a professional sharpener. HOW OFTEN? Obviously there are many factors, Whats your typical method of cutting? Ie; blunt, slide point? how many cuts do you do monthly? Typical texture of hair? Age and quality of their shear. All these factors come into play. I'm going into my 30th year sharpening and product education. Fortunately i was able to have received training in a factory where shears were being made. Like you said, there are keys to maintaining your shears and keep them preforming. MAINTAINING PROPER TENSION IS BY FAR, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO TO KEEP THEM PREFORMING!! I often teach, either you ALLOW your shears to work or you FORCE them to. That's up to you! Shears will become dull gradually almost to the point of not recognizing it. Cutting with dull shears not only is damaging to your clients hair but to your shear itself.. Sure some have saved a bit of metal and a few dollars over the years from not having them sharpened that often but when they wait too long, the sharpener has to be more aggressive to recreate the edge. (Recreate vs. Reestablish ) Gaining virtually nothing in longevity. I find a Maintenance sharpening a better way to go for many reasons. 1, less damage to the clients hair. 2. effort to get the results your looking for. 3. Less effort,+ less force +More productivity= better$$$ 4 less material removed when sharpened. ( this depends on the sharpener) I suggest for starters get, have a qualified sharpener you can trust. He should be able to address the factors and help determine what works best. Sorry for being long winded. I'm just passionate about my profession.
Thank you for this amazing video. Definitely a popular haircut right now
Our pleasure! Let us know if there is anything else you would like to see.
What kind of combs do you use, I’m looking for a better comb
There are a lot of great brands. Cleopatra, Y/S Park, Sam Villa. Do a google search and enjoy.

Those shears look so smooth with the sheer over comb technique
Clean cut 💯🦈
Amazing hair cut 💇♀️. Love the framing off the face
Now that is some straight positivity she just put her friends on game.
So awesome. Really good to see such positivity around the swivel feature. Especially with relieving tension to the wrist.
Wow 🤩 you didn’t sharpen them for three year’s. I totally need to get a pink pair of the swivels.
I just got some swivel shear I don’t know how to use them properly because I’m so use regular shear , I have tendinitis in my wrist . How can this shear help me? Please tell me how?
Hello! Thank you for asking. Please watch our video titled, Cutting with a swivel shear or Swivel vs Non-swivel. These well help you to better understand how & why to use a swivel shear.
