I must have been 6-7 year old when this series came. Though it was low on tech and special effects. The characters, acting, emotions were top notch. Every other Mahabharat on big screen or small screen looks fake to me and I don't watch them at all. When I think of great Mahabharat characters these actors faces come in my mind.

Imagine the time when we had limited technological access in terms of film making. Hardly any special effects of VFX, today a webseries or film can be shot in a small studio in front of chroma. But it takes guts, dedication, vision and most importantly passionate talented people to make such an epic. This kind of epic cannot be replicated and infact it shall be a reference for film makers and audience as there will be constant comparison with the Mahabharat made by Late B.R. Chopra ji. Swastik production also did a great job by making mahabharat which we saw it on star plus only had it been the first of its series ever made on TV it would have been an epic
