Hi Hamed, use cutting parameters option to specify multiple cuts and give each cut incremental value after specifying stock. Axial depth of .5mm can be specified in cutting parameters.

Hi Reginald, as you can see in the video I used streamline to pick flow curves for toolpath, nowadays we can use morphing and guide curves, i will make a new file and upload, this old file , i haven't plugged practical SFM AND feedrate so that was never true measure of cycle time that can be obtained, with new morphing startegy we can do better. since it was year old , it did that in a old computer which is unavailable at this time.

turn on cylindrical interpolation G07 depends on control and let the C axis contour move will Z infeed will make linear moves , if the contour is centered on Y axis. if not then both Y and Z will move.

@@kaleemkhan4114 ​ @kaleem khan you might know these codes are posted thru post processor, NX does support tcl script which allows posting cylindrical interpolation on diameter on turnmill and also polar interpolation on the front for using Turnmill centers, if the lathe has Y axis with live tooling then can post Y and Z , if only live spindle then C and Z.

Hi, after post processing this code, this CNC code will be run on a machine tool that has cutting tool and spindle oriented perpendicular to cutting surface, the workpiece is the one that will have rotation around the chuck axis. Though NX shows tool moves around , infact it's the workpiece that contour around the axis
