Might be worth adding some pipe insulation to that pipe as it seems most vulnerable. First day back for me tomorrow, been too much snow and ice plus I hate the cold 🙂
Yes, I thought that. Haven’t got round to doing it yet though and it happens so infrequently it’s not worth it. I know what you mean, always a struggle in these temperatures!
Did it turn to ice on the floor mate
No, it was fine. Didn’t start until about 11:30 though…
That step ladder looks good, what make is it?
Yes, it is good. I use it the most out of all my ladders. It is a BPS Depot Telescopic Multipurpose Ladder.
Get a scaffold ffs 🤦♂️….freezing icy conditions off a ladder! Are you mad! And that biocide would have been completely useless at those temperatures…admire your enthusiasm to get the job done but come on, reschedule for a better day and hire a scaffold before you injure yourself
Hi, I did use a scaffold for the rest of the roof but didn’t want to put a heavy platform on that flat roof. Hence the stepladder, which was sturdy enough and not too heavy. It might be a bit cold for the biocide but it had warmed up by the afternoon which is when it went on. Thanks for the comment though. All suggestions are welcome!
The front looked a bit tricky, lucky the plants had not grown down the outlet. Not sure if you know but your speaking is at a much lower volume than the music. I would say your voice level is about right and the music a fair bit too high. Nice to see real time emptying, cheers.
Hi, yes, the front was much worse than the back. I agree, the music is too loud, it is a bit of trial and error at the minute tbh. On the editing software it is pretty low, then too loud on the actual video. Should be better in the coming videos. I think the voice is a bit too low but I’ve realised the mic is on the back of the camera and doesn’t pick up speech so much if you are talking to the front of it. Again, trial and error…..
@@cwnexteriorcleaning I wasn't trying to criticize, just trying to help. Great to see. Thanks.
That is tough work doing those solar panels especially when you have to work at such acute angles... Realistically there are only 3 options 1. have your own cherry picker.. ( that s for the Big boys ) 2. Your own scaffolding ( but that again is a lot of driving backwards and forwards and extra time is the price worth it ?? ) 3,. Get a Gardiner 45 footer and use a very light brush... I know because i have to do these types of solar panels In Europe...... Or simply refuse them . because they do take a lot of energy without the right tools...Ideally you want to get up as close as possible to make the work easier and more enjoyable, the further you are away the more stressful it is.
Hi, yes you’re right. I think a scaffold tower is the best option. Can fit one in the van as well so only one journey needed.
@@cwnexteriorcleaning It is the best option because as you grow and get more jobs.. You will be able to do the work drastically faster and with a great saving on energy and stress. ( Make the whole experience a beautiful one instead of hard which is what life is all about aiming for quality feeling via quality tools and having experience )
I like the thermostat plug - what make and model is it? If you ever run your oil rad on 2Kw then uncoil the extension cable as the coil creates eddy currents that cause heat and can cause a fire without tripping RCD or fuses! Great to see different jobs and the difficult to reach ones.
Yes it is a clever piece of kit. Saves having the heater on when not needed. I’m not sure of the make and model but got it from Amazon. Thanks for the tip. I knew about uncoiling if using the gutter vac but didn’t know the heater might pull enough power to heat up the coil.
@@cwnexteriorcleaning I'm probably over cautious with unreeling the extension cable for the oil rad but it could be on for long periods and totally unattended in your van! Better to be safe than sorry. I'll look on Amazon, thanks.
@@ched999ukby the way, I checked that cable reel and you were right. For the power of the heater it should be uncoiled so thanks for that!
I have just subscribed mate 🙂
I'm guessing the egg came off fairly easily as it was recent. Good to see the high windows, was that the GVS 40ft? It did look very bendy but you had a heavy brush on!
Yes, it came off ok in the end. The pole is GVS 35. It is a bit too flexible at full height but it gets the job done.
Both methods of window cleaning definitely have there place 👍🏻I’m Warwickshire based , thanks for sharing
Totally agree. Next county along from me then!
Moss always seems to come back eventually, no matter what you do. I guess your treatment might delay it longer, but in this case, I’m not sure they removed the moss from in between the tiles anyway. One thing for sure is that all the moss should have been removed from the gutters - that’s very poor.
Hi, no not really. It is in there pretty tight but I do check it if I have a particularly bad lot of plants/ grass to suck up.
Nice few cleans. Do you not worry about the gutter vac nozzle pulling out of the silicon bend on a tough section of weeds etc?
That's the problem, trying to explain to the customer why you are good and charge what you do is difficult. Customers just think scraping the moss off is the end of the job!
Yes, very true. Most don't realise how physically hard it is to do either!
Nice to see a variety of work and the more difficult bits like the gutter behind the canopy.
Thanks mate. I shall get more content coming and hopefully the camera angles will get better!!
How do I get pure water for backpack ? New to this
Google spotless water they have units you can fill from all over uk
@ based in Ireland
You can buy small filter units that you plumb into your tap supply. Google 'Reverse Osmosis filters'. 150 - 200 gallons per day should do you to start. About £150....
How do you get purified water?
I use this window cleaner. My windows have never looked better. 🎉
