I’m getting a spray tan tonight for Lollapalooza on Friday and I was planning on leaving the bronzer on until tomorrow night so the tan is fresh for Friday morning is this a bad idea? Should I shower Thursday morning after the tan instead? Will I look crazy at work on Thursday if I don’t? I just wanna do whatever will give me the best results 🥲

I must say, being that my OCD sometimes kicks in, I have watched HUNDREDS of self tanning tutorials by dozens of different TH-camrs. You, by far have changed my life when it comes to flawless self tanning. My favorite tip of yours is that the tanner is STILL processing after your morning shower for up to 24 hours. MAYBE only one other person out of HUNDREDS have mentioned this. And the Dr. Bronner's tip is also epic. Lots of other tips & tricks I have learned from you as well. I recently switched to GlowPro since they actually list their DHA concentration (14% which is the highest on the market), & they are very transparent with their customers :)

TLDR; jacuzzi or tub (alt. use a hot shower) that has baking soda and lemon juice in the water for 20/30 minutes, exfoliate using an exfoliation mitt, she doesn’t recommend tan remover. Steam rooms and saunas work too. Sugar scrubs work but you can’t tan again for several days after because it has a residue that stays on your skin. Never use windex or magic erasers, dawn dish soap on your skin, obviously. For face; use a liquid chemical expoliter she recommends Paula’s choice and a retinol, a face scrub works too. She says warm water and a towel works the best tho. Hands and feet: use a pumice stone.

I have skin cancer, self tanning is the way I have to go from now on. I have been using Bondi Something I love it, but is very interested in your stuff

I have exclusively used Dove soap for my entire life, and I've never been able to achieve a non streaky self-tan, so I'm hoping that's why, and I'm actually a pro being held back by my soap. 😂

I dab a little clear nail polish over each sun spot and let it dry before I self tan. The polish just washes off gradually

So I don’t shave because my hair is blonde and I know once I start you can’t stop and so would putting fake tan on coulour my blonde hair?

hey ! so I have fake tan on currently and it’s amazing everywhere but patchy on my chest and neck , can I just exfoliate and reapply that area or do I have to completely redo?

does this also work for water based mousse?

I used both but I switched to gloves a while ago. Gloves give a much deeper colour and allow the product to go further, while the mitt gives a softer shade of tan. They do not absorb any product, otherwise half of the colour is absorbed through that mitt. You go clearly darker with gloves. That's my experience.

If you exfoliate 24 before but have sweated the next day (tan day) can you rinse off and use safe soap and d rt completely before applying the self tanner ?

Dr. Bonners says on the bottle that the 2nd ingredient is coconut oil amongst many other oils. This won’t create a barrier?

I’ve seen people recommend the first aid beauty kp scrub? Is there a reason I shouldn’t use this? I don’t believe that contains oils.

What kind of conditioner? A lot of them have chemicals i feel will strip the tan.
