Dearest Arlee I saw dawn. And immediately fell in love with her design I wanted to make a sequel to this and make dawn of the dance where I remake a kinda replica version of dawn so I can invite her to the Halloween dance

Hi Arlee, you have a great channel. I am just getting into marionettes and have a quick question on stringing, -if you don't mind. This applies mainly to 'Hazelle Marionettes' - I am building a collection for shows. So, as you know, most have the traditional airplane control with removable front bar. The front bar controls the feet and arms. It seems logical to me, to get the most movement to the arms, that the control strings would be attached at the outermost holes on each end of the bar. Next in would be the feet, which would be attached to the inner set of holes on the bar. However, this is not the factory condition. These sets of control lines are crossed, meaning the legs are attached to the outer holes, and the arms to the inner holes. What is the benefit of this type of setup please? Sorry to bother you, but I can't find an answer anywhere! (The only benefit I can think of, is that pulling the leg controls out to the ends of the bars, gets the lines a bit more away from the face.) Is that it? Any help greatly appreciated. - Mic.

For its age the book is in remarkable condition . These books are so interesting to puppeteers and the skills contained within the pages. If I had the book I would make a start on one of the projects.
