I have both for HARD sessions. 70% of Puma and 30 % by Nike make a good balance.
What? Puma grip is waaay better than Nike, it is even capable for light trails.
might have to join you lot! what a group!!!
freezing hats thats wild! might try this!!! would be good to run with you i did the gc50 10k and got second place. good channel this keep it up!!
You passed me running up over the bridge. I must have passed you when you went to the bathroom because I dont remember seeing you after the bridge climb. I ended up doing around 37.10. Havnt been able to race since because I hurt my hip, but hopefully see you at another race soon 😊😊😊
I love the cloudeclipse too, I had no problems.
It’s a great shoe I got to see the next version of it in person recently and it looks even better so definitely something to look forward too
How was the grip in the rain? Can you elaborate on how much water they took on? Did they drain well or was it stuck inside the shoes?
Yeah sure the grip was great but i also ran in pretty much a straight line down the coast so didn’t exactly test them too hard and avoiding puddles they handled just the rain well didn’t hold or soak up too much water but after going through a deep puddle they where significantly heavier and held the water in pretty badly 😅 but the comfort didn’t really change just made them a much heavier
It’s not full ZoomX, has SR02. Just to clarify. Great vid.
😂 whops you totally right my bad 😅
Definitely make a video for next week!!!
Did my first 50. Brutal
Nice work hope you where happy with your race but yeah it was brutal for the 50
Great video, I had a similar experience, slow decline in speed as the temperature rose.
Happens to the best of us 😂 hope you where still happy with your race
Great video and nice race it was crazy hot and humid - love the hat freezing I will be using that over summer for sure!
Thanks 😁😁
you did great josh
Thanks ☺️
😁😁😁
10km woohoo
Maby 🤫
Nice to find a running vlog from down under .. Pls do more .. your videos inspire small time runners like me from Sydney :)
Thanks 🙏 no there’s lots more to come especially in the new year 😁😁😁
I go through that part of bush everyday seen few eastern browns in there and all those noisy bats on otherside
Yeah those bats are so loud and they smell pretty bad 😅 I’m lucky never seen a brown in there the coolest one I’ve seen is a red belly black and luckily it was from a respectable distance 😂
Love it! It is getting warm out there! Be smart everyone 😊
Thanks ☺️
Thank you for put things togather. I run for the first time. much shorter race but knowing how nurvous I got before lace, sure i was not the only one. Well done and will see you more next year.
Thanks ☺️ and good luck in your next race 😁
And so it begins! Good luck!
Thanks 😁
Congrats on the time, that wind was a challenge for sure. I was not to far behind you. Around this time can be hard to form decent groups to run with, did you have much trouble working with others on the day? All the best with the up coming races!
Thanks! 😁 Hope you had a great race too. Yes and no-I had a friend with the same goal time, so we ran together for the first 10km. But then we split up, and we both started to slow down. I managed to get a bit farther up the road before I hit the wall, and after that, I was too gassed to catch onto the 2 or 3 small groups that passed me. But yeah I usually struggle to find a pack.
@ we just have to get faster then won’t we 😂 I managed to have 1 or 2 groups but they broke up fairly quickly unfortunately. Almost like they didn’t want to form a pack. I’d yell out through Albert park notorious for wind that let’s work together. Didn’t happen for long haha.
Great to see another Aussie on youtube. I tested both in the shop I found the Puma a little more stable especially around corners and the grip a bit better. It seemed to be better for slower runners like me too, so the Puma for the win :) :) . All the best for the race. I cant be there this year - knee injury :(
hahah thanks hope your knee gets better fast!!! yeah the puma is definitely more stabel around corners the alphafly kind of feels like a big boat that struggles to turn
Nitro Puma is so versatile for slow and high runners. Is adorable.
Ha! It is obvious you gave the grip a clear win to the Nike because otherwise the Puma would be on top:) You are the only one who gives the Alphafly a win n grip over the Puma. Thanks for the video, it's good to know the Puma is durable, I'm getting it then!
🤣 I might be a little bias. Hope you like the nitro elite 3 if you get a pair there a fantastic shoe
@@Josh_Mannning Haha, it's OK. It's a no brainer for me really. Even if I could find an Alphafly (which I can't), its price is almost double that of the Puma (I can find the Puma for 200eur). I've tried the Puma in a shop and found it amazingly bouncy. Take the durability into account as well and one has to be a very hardcore Nike fan (or just wealthy) to go for the Alphafly. Finally, the Puma has got to be more stable as well, which could be a plus for many people who do not have great running mechanics.
Thanks so much for this review. I've been babying my puma DNE3 thinking it might not last past 200km because of how thin the outsole is, but looking at your 500km shoe vs my 40km shoe, it's almost identical. Now, I can confidently use it for my tempo sessions without worries. Lol.
There definitely tuffer than they look
@@Josh_Mannning I've been looking everywhere for at least a 100 mile review of DNE3. You saved me a lot of time and the fear of using my shoe. Lol. Kudos 👍🏼
Could you make a long term review for the DNE3. Like the experience of using it for 500kms, any issues or dislikes along the way? That would be much appreciated. 👍🏼
@@RunningDaddeh yeah definitely keep an eye out in a couple weeks 👊
Очень классное и информативное для меня видео, огонь 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ever run in odd pair of shoes?
@@n3vco 😅 definitely not the the superstition stops at the socks

Thanks ☺️

@@DaveTheRunner thanks it’s going to be a great weekend 🎉
