Lived in Singapore, been to few weddings and even returned for others . No need to go over the top with a wedding to keep up with the jonese's . Am sure the bridal couple could do with money ,to spend on something lasting and more practicle.

As a Singaporean, I resided in Shanghai and Perth in my younger years before working and staying in Melbourne currently. Have to admit that we often take our convenience and safety for granted until we stayed overseas 😅. But well, it's always good to try living overseas when you are still young and can afford to do so. It will enrich your life experience greatly and very possibly, this could be a life changer. As to whether to migrate or not, there are many factors to consider which not all are within one's control. Hope this helps, cheers!

2022 onwards... many would. Work culture sucks.... starting a family got to wait five years for bto and the price of housing is motherfucking ridiculously high. Half a million for old hdb? Its not even a landed fuckin property....... so .... i don't see my future children or grandchildren staying here. Like most of my friends, they started to migrate finding job in another state. The only thing a singaporean afford nowadays..... cemetery hole.

U interview the wrong profile of people. They cant afford to go overseas enough to know what is quality of living, of cos they will say singapore good la. Singapore is only good for earning money, not thriving in life. Period. Worst still, even a very basic bottomline standard of living in a decent size housing is far out of reach to people in 20s have further push them out of their own country.

Nope its not..no natural resources..food in singapore makes us sick..cancer in singapore is on high rate since then..cannot lawn non gmo foods..so yeah, nope..health is wealth..even our home is not ours in sense of our own property..everything belongs to the government..singapore is one of the high standard country in the world from the outside view..yes true..but the whole singapore salary market price is not up to standard..never increase but otherwise..singapore isnt a place to be living in fact surviving everyday..cars motorbikes price are nonsensible..house wise, the amount is so expensive but the house one bought(HDB) is so wow-ly small..fast pace country..unlike for eg australia..most of the time fast but when it comes to claiming one's money back, slow..singapore could do better..unfortunately citizen's voices are unheard..

I’m a 15(Sec 3) year old Singaporean who’s been thinking about leaving this shithole ever since i was 13(Sec 1) please just let me leave, i’m sick and tired of being commanded and shouted at, sick and tired of having little to no sleep. I just want to do what I’m interested in. We don’t study to strive for knowledge in this country, we do this just to survive. Worst of all, people like me who wants to express my thoughts would be dismissed by being called “whiners” and stuff

There is greater social freedom n a sense of public ownership of society overseas. Here, everyone is too family focused n there is not much space to be yourself.
