Very nice blue water and white sand .
Yes, the Blue Mountains are a beautiful part of the world. Lincoln's Rock is off the usual tourist journey and are well worth the detour. If you have time for a longer detour, follow the road near Lincoln's Rock about 20 or so km south to McMahon's Point lookout. It is an unsealed road, but is usually in good condition. From that Point, you look south over more mountains, not available save by long and difficult tracks, and really only available to experts. The view west is of more mountain ranges extending as far as those around Jenolan Caves. From the well-known lookouts at Echo Point and Katoomba, you look across the valley to the northern face of Mt Solitary; from McMahon's Lookout, you see the eastern and part of the southern faces. You also see wild ranges, range after range, extending well to the west towards Jenolan Caves. If you look straight down, you'll see the headwaters of Lake Burragorang/Warragamba Dam, the main water supply for Sydney. On the way out to McMahon's Point, stop at Battleship Tops, which were an important meeting place for the original inhabitants or the area for thousand of years. Sadly they are now desecrated (the vandals were caught and served well-deserved gaol terms) but a lot remains visible. Hard to explain, but the Tops have the same sacred feel as many experience in many of the great cathedrals. The flies can be more than annoying. There are good repellents are most supermarkets or pharmacists.
This sounds amazing! Thank you for sharing this info, we will definitely have to check this out next time we visit the mountains! 😊
@@LockdownMadeUsTravel I hope you enjoy it. A word of warning: the only facilities at McMahon's Point are a couple of bbq fireplaces (they were there last spring, may not be now), and a pit toilet. On the primitive side, but go knowing this and be prepared. Nothing at all at Battleship Tops.
You needed aeroguard for the flies . I love the Blue Mountains . One of my favourite parts of the Blue Mountains is Butterbox point loop track . There is a dirt track road at Leura that winds through the forest and also the mountains and is very beautiful . The view of the valley is amazing with the forest, river , caves is incredible but there is no fencing . The beauty is therefore raw and not over run by tourists. Your video is fantastic thank you !
Thank you! We will remember that for next time 😂 the bug spray we were using clearly wasn’t working for Chris! That sounds beautiful, we will have to check that out next time we visit the blue mountains. Thank you for watching 🫶🏻
Wow such an amazing video! Stunning views! 🤩 Great job guys 👍🏼
Thank you so much for watching 🙌🏻
Super trip, amazing place, fine video, very educational. Greetings from Poland!
Incredible 😮😍
What an epic episode thanks for sharing
Thank you so much! We glad you enjoyed it, our next one is out next week 🤩
Hey ja! Love your accent guys!! Cute video, lovely greats from Melbourne
Hey! Thank you! 😃
We went to Wallerman Falls probably 12 months before you and it was amazing. While we were in the carpark getting ready to go down to the bottom a really firece storm hit and you couldnt see more than 10 mtrs, the wind was gusting so strong that branches were coming down all around us and we were expecting trees to come down. so we decided to get out while we could.. On the way down waterfalls and streams of water were suddenly appearing everywhere combined with the fact that we could only see a couple of mtrs in front of us the drive back down that winding road was one of the most challenging I have ever done .
Oh wow that’s mad! Storms in that area can be wild, we experienced a few ourselves! Driving in them is never fun. We wouldn’t have liked to hike down during a storm, but it is a beautiful waterfall! 😍
Lockdown. Bravo! fantastic editing! catch you later- :)

HANDS UP 🙋♂️🙋♀️ who's been to this beautiful beach just off the east coast of Australia⁉️ Well, if you haven't... don't panic, we've got you covered 🫵 📍 This stunning beach is located on an island called Fitzroy island & is called Nudey Beach... (don't worry, it's not a nudist beach) 🤭 Nudey Beach was actually recently voted THE best beach in the whole of Australia. Now that's pretty impressive considering... 1.) Australia is absolutely mahoosiveee 2.) Australia has soo many beautiful beaches... we wouldn't want the pressure of choosing which one should come number one as there's just too many to choose from! 😍 But we could see why it's been voted THE best beach in Australia. It was simply stunning. 🫶🏻 The beach had the whitest, clean sand & the ocean was just so blue & full of sealife 🐢 And since it's a short ferry journey from mainland Australia, it was pretty quiet too, which was surprising! So what are you waiting for?! SAVE this post & and get over to Fitzroy Island to check out Nudey Beach before the secret gets out & everyone else beats you there! 😁 #travel #australia #explore #beautifuldestinations #beach
ThHIS IS FAKE IM AUSTRALIAN 😤
Oh my godddd this looks incredible!! Need to book my flight now!!
the best place ever 🙌🏻
Nice try, but I won't be fooled by your trickery and become monster food.
"Lack of wildlife" pov: you live in qld - great barrier reef, kangaroos around the corner of you, beaches where turtles hatch. Also non-aussies really don't get it do you? The snakes and spiders are more scared of you than you should be of them, and COWS AND HORSES for all sakes kill more people than snakes and spiders so don't freak out and say "scariest animals ever"
you guys really don't get sarcasm
Visit my hometown Coffs Harbour in NSW!
Oh wow! We have been there, it was beautiful! 😍
What did you just say bout my country
bro what do you mean it has the scariest animals ever💀
So its better than America and plus I live in Australia and I love it🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Wdym it’s so good here!
