Good list but not very accurate. Four Seasons is easily the number 1 resort in Koh Samui followed by Banyan Tree and Six Senses. I think just about every expert would agree that Four Seasons is #1 in Koh Samui.

I know Domincan Republic vey well, and I agree with most of the ranking, except two points: The city of Samana is a very dirty city, destroyed by their lazy inhabitants. And Sosua was once a town developed by Jewish refugees coming into the country during The German Nazi regime. Nowadays, sadly it is nothing more than an open air brothel. Other than that, DR is certainly my favorite country to live.
