The Sambassadors of Groove are Leamington Spa's Samba band, from the Heart of England in Warwickshire. We've be playing together for over 20 years and perform at all sorts of events such as Art in the Park, Warwick Folk Festival and the Leamington Peace Festival. The music we play is percussion based music from Brazil and Cuba using authentic Brazilian instruments.

Sambassadors of Groove play at the Brookhurst School Fireworks display on 3rd November 2024. Brookhurst Primary School is located in northern Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. This event was organised by the BrookHurst School Association. No video of the band performing was captured, hence the audio track only,

The Sambassadors of Groove will be running a Beginner Crash Course in October 2024. Starting on the 3rd October 2024, and running for 4 successive Thursday evenings. The venue is the Band Factory, Althorpe Street, Leamington Spa CV31 2AU between 8 pm to 10:30 pm. See end of video for a map of the location. Your chance to try out Samba drumming with no obligation. Under leader Sam Wolff, the Sambassadors of Groove played at the Brookhurst Primary School's annual Bonfire and Fireworks Display on 5th November 2023, in memory of Guy Fawkes' unsuccessful plot to blow up the King and Parliament in November 1605. The groove here is "Mozambique", originally arranged for us by "Raz" Jayasuriya.

Loved seeing you in the Market Square.
I first saw Sambassadors down in St Ives about 20 years ago maybe a little more, you lit the town up and I've followed you ever since. Keep the fire going you are all amazing, a legacy that must live on. Just look at the crowds they cant keep still.🥰
