Pictures and the words work together for our enjoyment of the medium. Both have their own role; the images make you feel and the words make you understand. The tricky part for the creators is knowing when to balance both and when to weigh one more the other. Finding what the story needs at the moment. Interesting show fellas.

I can't do it. As a way of reading the original story great , but spending a few hundred bucks on a facsimile because it's 9.8 doesn't change the fact that it's not the original. How long before these are also overpriced for no reason.

Great comicon report and pick ups! I'd love to make it down to NYCC one of these days and check out the show. My niece who lives in Brooklyn went today for the her first ever comiccon and I hope it went well for her. Glad to see Jim Steranko is still active at shows and being the personable fellow he is (although the photo thing is a bit weird).

Those are some nice comics you picked up at the con. Being a major fan of Doc Savage; it was nice to see those Doc Savage comics. They are some of the better Doc Savage comic books. The Millennium book has such a great cover by Brian Stelfreeze and Daryl Banks on the art. Mark Ellis told a fine Doc adventure. That classic Doc Savage logo began with the Bantam Doc Savage paperbacks in the 1960's and has continued to this day. Enjoyed the video. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve

I meet Steranko ! He was a nice guy but i waited just as long as you, I got him to sign a great modern Batman cover he did . He told me his idea of how he came up with the image ! Was well worth it ! Having him sign a comic you grew up with is amazing!

Very jealous of all the Ghost Machine stuff, if you still haven't read Hyde St, read it!!! Even though I remember buying Kamandi #1 when it came out, I know I gave up with it because it came out so sporadically over here, I think the next issue I saw was #8. I see it lasted 59 issues and was cancelled because of the DC implosion! The last written issue by Kirby I believe was #38 and the last pencils was #40! Looked like over all you had a good time, a few disappointments, but all in and all a success! When you're buying 50 year old books for less than when they're coming out today, I would say that is a deal done!

So no luck finding those justice leaguers, huh? After watching your last vid I looked up those issues on ebay and saw decently priced graded slabs you could buy and crack out, if you wish. There's a nice 75 in 9.2 I'm looking at to buy next week if still available.
