I just started my daughter on proloquo2go and I started her on a 7 x 11 size and she has a lot of issues with crowds and a lot of stuff so I thought this might’ve been bad for her but no, we don’t even use progressive language. She just uses her words.

You may say this is an amateur comparison, but this is fantastic! As an SLP who doesn't get a chance to work with high-tech AAC a lot, I can make a list of what I think is important....but I'm not the one using the device. Your video is an excellent resource from the most important perspective - the user and family viewpoint. Thank you for taking the time to make this, share what you like, don't like, what's easy, what's intuitive, and giving a great overview of the apps.

dont let assistiveware consultants here you say the grid size is customizable! apparently, we are all expected to only use 7x11 and anything less we are wrong-unless we have motor or vision difficulties. I had to change to avaz because i have never met a bigger bunch of bullies. this is a blasphemous video! how dare you suggest a smaller grid size and how dare you suggest 5x9 to be a good start~ wait till you get told off by teachers and consultants that that is not appropriate and you are limiting your children's potential!~ sarcasm aside, assistiveware consultants are disgusting and i wont tolerate the bullying.

Do you recommend a kid using multiple AAC apps? Does Lilly use Proloquo2go and TouchChat or just PLQ? I'm just asking because we're wondering if we should expose our daughter to both.

When you say that Pro2go you make one payment...do you mean that tdsnap you have to make payments to update? I'm deciding between those 2.

I'm new to AAC and got the TD snap for my 9 year old, it's very good. The new motor plan 66 page set is very roboast and customizable too. In just 2 weeks he knows how to use it to ask for his food which makes me happy because for years we have been trying to get him to talk through different speech therapies and nothing worked. I know we still have a long way to go with AAC but I'm happy he can communicate through AAC. I just wish i knew about it when he was much younger, anyways this is new to us in Africa 🌍. Thanks for making this video for those who are new to AAC

Is there a way we can do this for the whole page instead of button by button?

You can also go to the folder where your gonna copy the button to, and click menu, edit page, click on a open blank button, then you click COPY EXISTING BUTTON and you can choose buttons from different folders

If you don't want to have to have all the "hold" buttons there is a setting you can use so you can change button layout without having extra hidden buttons.

I've actually found TD Snap to be one of the easiest to edit and most customisable. The new Motor Plan pagesets are great.

Hi will this work for every device and for iPad and phone I want this app on my phone I got my AAC Device yesterday the Proloquo2Go App

I hope to the video was going to explain how to move existing buttons into a new folder. Can you tell me please? I'm trying to organize a new student's device into categories for people: home / school / old school. I have tried editing the button by hovering over it when it wiggles and sliding it into the new folder but that doesn't work. I hate to have to manually enter each button into the separate folders.
