I grew up in the 90s....i experienced the likes of bboy the end, physixcs, lilou, marcio, cico, pocket, lil G, lil ceng, kill...the list can go on...they did things you thought was impossible...and now these kids have just surpassed it to levels that almost feel like cheat codes

I love that I made it to the period of time where all sorts of random niche hobbies and sports have been almost perfected due to the internet both spreading popularity of them as well as letting people around the world collaborate, inspire, and push each other to the next level. People are mastering things today that were never even theoretically imagined by those before. Beatbox, breakdancing, speedrunning, and parkour I think are four of the best examples of niche things that only happened between local communities, and all had to evolve independently of each other. But now you have so much more eyes on them, and so many more people collaborating to push their respective hobby, that we're now able to realize close to the full human potential of these things. We as an audience get to see what the best of the best looks like when they perfect this random niche skill.
