I'm a theoretical nuclear physicist with a PhD from the University of Notre Dame (USA), now working in the broad fields of AI, machine learning (ML), and web development. I've taught physics for many years, and I thought my notes on various topics might be helpful to others.
To start, I'll upload my Edexcel International A-Level and AS-Level physics notes. In the future, I may share content on machine learning and web development, including three.js and more.
I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments, please don't forget to like, share, and subscribe! You can connect with me via my Discord server, and if you'd like to support the channel, check out my Buy Me a Coffee link. For personal tutorials, feel free to reach out. I can also assist with undergraduate and graduate-level physics.

Edexcel International A-Level Physics: Particle Accelerators
In this video, we discuss particle accelerators, which are used to bring charged particles to high energies. We cover linear accelerators (LINACs), which use an alternating voltage of constant frequency, and cyclotrons, whose operation relies on an AC voltage with a frequency equal to the charge of the particle to be accelerated multiplied by the magnetic field, divided by 2 pi times the mass of the particle.

Edexcel International A-Level Physics: Probing Matter
In this video, we discuss the history of how we came to understand the atom and the nucleus. Topics include atomic and nuclear sizes and masses (proton, neutron, and electron), Rutherford's scattering of alpha particles by gold foil, the observations and conclusions, the planetary model of the atom, the discovery of the neutron, and a review of the photoelectric effect from AS-Level Physics. We...
Edexcel International A-Level Physics: Electromagnetic Effects
In this video, we explore electromagnetic effects. We introduce magnetic flux density, discuss the shape of magnetic field lines, and define magnetic flux and magnetic flux linkage. We discuss the forces on currents using the formula force equals BIL, apply Fleming's left-hand rule, and analyze the forces on moving charges in magnetic fields (equal to qvB). We also study the motion of charged p...
Edexcel International A-Level Physics: Capacitors
In this video, we explore capacitors, including their electric field, potential, and capacitance. We discuss the processes of charging and discharging capacitors, analyzing the charge, voltage, and current curves and the logarithmic plots that represent these processes. Key concepts like the time constant are covered, along with the 37 percent rule for discharging and the 63 percent rule for ch...
Edexcel International A-Level Physics: Coulomb's Force, Electric Fields, and Potential
In this video, we explore Coulomb's force, electric potential, and electric fields. We discuss electric field lines, equipotential lines, the energy needed to move inside an electric field, and uniform fields. Additionally, we use the University of Colorado's simulation, "Charges and Fields," to study electric fields and potentials. You can check out the simulation here: phet.colorado.edu/en/si...
Edexcel International A-Level Physics: Centripetal Force
In this video, we discuss the concept of centripetal force and examine how it applies to various examples, including a car turning, a car in a banked curve, a conical pendulum, satellite motion, and a Ferris wheel. These examples demonstrate the diverse applications of centripetal force in physics.
Edexcel International A-Level Physics: Circular Motion
In this video, we cover the fundamentals of circular motion, including the definition of radians, angular velocity, and angular acceleration. We derive the formula for angular acceleration, define period and frequency, and explain how the angle relates to arc length and radius.
Edexcel International A-Level Physics: Impulse
In this video, we explore the concept of impulse and its relationship to the change in momentum. We also discuss a simple example and analyze a graph to better understand how impulse works.
Edexcel International A-Level Physics: Momentum & 2D Collisions
In this lesson, we dive into Unit 4 topics, focusing on momentum and collisions. We discuss 2D collisions, how to handle them algebraically and vectorially, and explore connections between Newton's 2nd Law and momentum. I also cover expressing kinetic energy in terms of momentum, the conservation of momentum and energy in elastic collisions, and the unique case of 90-degree collisions when the ...
Edexcel International A-Level Physics: SI Units & Scalars vs. Vectors
In this video, I provide a general overview of base and derived SI units, how to work with them, and an introduction to scalar and vector quantities in physics. This foundational knowledge is essential for Unit 4 and all areas of physics. Perfect for students who want to strengthen their understanding of these fundamental concepts!
