For food, make sure to check out the new recipes you unlocked when you hit Maida's green house - so check fabricator. Don't forget to plant the fevered peppers, and the Preston's plant if you didn't already - those will go inside the base. You'll also need some of the red floaty bits [Episode 10, timestamp 10min 40 sec: th-cam.com/video/B0zHTcGMxZ0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VIT7gR3Jpd9SagV7&t=640], and your mushrooms you're missing for the hydrochloric acid is also available in the same spot: [Episode 10, timestamp 11:11 th-cam.com/video/B0zHTcGMxZ0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JyWyfAM1u723WO4d&t=671]. Additionally outside the bridge you found near the dock is a decent spot for a base, you'll be over there exploring for quite a while, and keeping materials on you for a tube room, hatch and power gen is useful when exploring to get out of the elements for a bit if you don't have prawn suit built yet. I always explore over there in prawn suit, simply so I have mobile area to warm up.

I usually ran w/ the regulator, 4 of the ultra high capacity tanks. I could then take my time exploring, and looking around. Such a beautiful game, and we're limited to what we can see for a few seconds at a time.

Should see if you can make the t2 (or modded t3+ ) depth mods for the Sea Truck, and take a look all around Delta island. Pretty sure I commented last vid where I found the singular spiral plant I found - *immediately* went back and planted it till I had an entire planter full of them.

If I remember correctly, the spiral plant is a very easy to miss plant, like a whitish cream color w/ 1 tall, and 1 shorter stem, wrapped in a few red stripes of what looks like reddish mineral. They grow fairly deep - Seatruck module depth 2 required - remember the seatruck is like the other vehicles - can produce O2 - so good for exploring, and coming back to it instead of the surface - helps explore your wrecks and such. I believe I found my spiral plants off the S side of the Mercury II Stern, down in the deep purple vent area. I'm pretty sure the huge Chelicerate leviathan was above me.

Don't forget the cheapness of Bulkheads for internal structure. Can just leave the doors open as well. Also they are amazing for deep bases - can close a door to de-flood an area when you break it and need O2.

Also, don't forget, Margret wanted you to visit her off to the East of the map - somewhat east of the big crater you explored, but up on the ice.

You keep hitting the 'Spikey Trap' 's . They look like 4 little tentacle or wiggly leaves when they are "inactive" on the floor. They have a heck of a reach, several meters, when you get close, they will zoom out and grab you. You can break their hold by spamming right click a bunch, and it'll let go and "reset" it's trap state for a few seconds, so you have time to get away. They are incredibly annoying, and one of the few times I've died.

You missed scanning the name tags on the outside of the habitat rooms - this unlocks some info about them and logs. Additionally, the scanner thing was picking up 1 missed item in each room. Most of the beds are custom to the people that lived there, so Sam's bed, and the other bed should be scanned.

I can't remember if it was the bow, the thruster, or stern section but if I recall correctly, there was a spot you go in, and if you look up there's a vent to easily miss to go into a room.

Fish

Easy way to get to Marguerit's place is down the hole - follow the O2 plants and look for the lamp posts. Those are markers set out by here, and lead to her place. I think it's a mod making your play so dark.

Did you scan Emmanuel's name banner on the entrance to his area? I know it popped up to scan, but i didn't see you scan it. Also - use your lamp more, YT playback is always darker than the gamma settings on your own screen, so we can't see much - plus, if you keep an eye on the bottom right of your screen (as at 16:57) there will always pop up a little scanner icon for anything that you can scan, so you don't need to only keep scanner in hand for that to work. Can use your lamp so you can see, and it'll still pop up, then just switch to scanner to scan, and back to lamp so you can see.

Did you end up scanning the alien artifact down in the warrens, and the pustule things on the vines down there? If I recall correctly, you'll need some of those pustules.

Loving the accent and the gameplay man, dont usually subscribe to smaller channels but youve got my attention, youll be huge 1 day man, keep grinding the vids 🙏

I knew you'd love the manifold mod once you found out how to get it. It is *so* helpful. I usually had 4 of the extended tanks - roughly 400-500 seconds of O2. I think you would have skipped dying if you'd stopped, pressed 0 to get to your air bladder, and used it for O2 instead of shooting to surface, and then pressed 6 to get back to your sea-glide (I noticed you don't use the hotkey buttons for the items, it's super useful instead of losing time scrolling).

Yes, get scrap metal near some of the places you'll find.

For the upcoming Subnautica: BZ playthru - the manifold mod (puts a manifold in your tank slot - and allows use of all filled tanks in your inventory for O2. SOO useful.

Also for my coffee / tea getting tepid, I ended up getting a cup warmer. Don't bother with the USB powered ones they can't get hot enough, but the standard plug in ones work great. Just make sure to get one w/ auto-shutoff.

The green things are "Poly-an-a-line" or depending on accent / area could be "Poly-anna-line"

With the Below Zero one, there is a great mod that you can change the drops on things for resources - definitely helps to remove a lot of the "downtime" of hunting for resources over and over.

Always weird how the game is a good pace till the end, and always seems rushed. "Here is unlimited ion cubes, finally you can make stuff to go explore, but the game is almost done."

Should be able to put the seeds and extra food stuff over in the BioReactors but if you've got the option on for the mod - they may be auto filled w/ stuff from the aquarium overflow. Also w/ the mods, you should be able to access the storage and the modules from inside - I believe it is "R" and "T" for the std keybinds.

Lol - Glad I'm not the only one that the Sea Dragon glitched into the thermal plant and nearly needed a new pair of shorts from it being right in front of me as I popped thru the entrance.

The sulfur you were looking for in the Lost River area is *in* the rivers - you need to go under the river level and it's under there along w/ a small amount of nickel. I usually bring stuff to get a thermal reactor, scanner room, and a hatch, and some titanium and gold for power distribution - and put that down right at the entrance to the Inactive Lava Zone, and Lost River areas just so I can easily scan and find things around there.
