It was Burgerville 😡
We need the mirror match between you and Mark for commoner champion. Is there any plan for a fun commoner age event?
Commoner AGE event would be cool! Yeah as mentioned in the video, Mark's commoner win at PTLA drove my interest in the commoner format. I recommend everyone try playing the commoner gold foil events at PTs and Callings.
Are those Evan - Levia tokens available to buy?
hijacking this video since it’s the most recent; here’s a kassai player wondering if colin played her at Portland 😅
I am John Kim's biggest fan
The long awaited vore oscillio tourney report
Thank you so much for the break down. Recently picked up Oscilio for (a blitz) armory and had a blast! Will definitely pick up some ideas from here to try! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
what a banger video and in depth analysis spot on! not playing blast should be a crime though!! 😠
Yuuto cameo
really awessome interview! thank you!
You should've won against that victor he fcked up and kept passing when you had exact lethal that was his mistake and misplay
Oh wow what a funny ending game 1😂
Looks great! Really makes people wish they were there. Nice video
This was shot and edited professionally, unlike my combined 2+ hours vlogs.
Antimeta Anthony , best Anthony !
Woo LSS should either ban command and conquer, or change the name od the game from Flesha dn blood to command and conquer, and reprint command and conquer as a rare. This finals proved how broken Command and Conquer is..... nevermind how EVERY deck runs it, now an entire deck uses it as the ONLY attack (basically) haha
I just feel like no ab into aurora is a big feelsbad if they ever go sigil of suffering with a clv up. maybe it's still negative ev overall but this interaction is an auto loss if it does come up.
The Discord link doesn't work anymore. is there a way to get a new one?
Hearing all this Kassai discourse and I am also the only local Kassai near me 😅
Holy heck this was one of the greatest interviews with Bryan I've ever seen. Really digging deep and asking all the questions I've wanted asked one after the other. And then always giving him tons of space to thoroughly answer every question. Thank you so much for this!
Where can i find your old kassai pummel list??
So excited to watch this! thanks for the stream
Perfect timing, a whole kassai stream to re-watch 🎉😊
I thought Tome was banned? Is it not?
This was recorded pre ban
Wait, can you Route the previous attack to slip the damage in of that attack during the combat chain on your second attack? I’m pretty new to the game.
just bought my first FAB deck after around a year of watching videos, and decided to go with Kassai this video was super helpful thanks!
We’re stoked to have you! Colin’s gonna be streaming soon, so get ready for more Kassai gameplay coming your way!
I didn't know reprise worked like that????? So aslong as it's still part of the chain link you can just trigger the reprise basically not have the +e on qtk action but get reprise..... Can someone send a ruling link for that thanks
Nice interview! Thx you both, rly wants me to pick up kassai again❤🎉
What was that intro 😂 nice!
Interesting deck tech. Looks good.
Great video! I love kassai!
🐐
This was the best interview I've seen yet. I loved the fact that we just spent 30 minutes viewing into Bryan's love of life.
Man, this Fai sure got cooked
Great job hosting the interview.
I’ve watched most of the Bryan interviews and this was the best by long shot. Well done guys!
I really like upf, especially how its open to building decks differently than in regular constructed formats. Unfortunately, almost all the players in my local game store community just play competitive. Please release round the table 2 and make upf enticing again. Id like the refill off the first turn rule to change for upf to: each player refills while the turn player refills their hand until the first round of turns is played. There is likely a better way to word it, but this prevents the 3rd player from being screwed out of a first turn potentially. Big upf games are fun but something needs to be changed about the first turn.
Bryce KILLED it and i love his voice 🥰 it reminds me of this guy at our local Weinerschnitzel growing up. My step dad would take us theough the drive through and this guy would take our order but the had the voice of an angel, just this animated baritone voice that was meant for radio or sports announcing. Anyways i would always get 2 chili cheese dogs. Thanks for the wall down memory lane. This was like 20 years ago, i hope he found something more fulfilling and is using his voice for good.
I’ve always wanted more people like Bryce on these interviews, super incisive
The more I learn about Brian, the more I realize he’s just a Druid
Bryce you killed it on this!
Gottalieb gotta leave!
Fantastic interview, on both parts. It's great to see the soul behind the game, there is a reason it has succeeded and will continue to see.
limited in FAB is literally god teir what do you mean!!
Ok, I deleted my previous comment because it was a little harsh, but I don't agree with a lot of the takes regarding sideboards. For one, the problem isn't always the lack of sideboard space, but the intentional design of polarizing heroes like Engima who require very specific answers, and then broken aggro decks like DIO, both of which require very different answers, and then you layer CYB on top of that, and now you have three things you can't physically address. Choosing to address that is not that interesting because it's not a metagame call, it's generally a 'I can't afford to include this sideboard space in what's going to be a lesser played matchup, so let's hope I don't get paired into it round one, whoops I did.' Most of that stems from the fact that there are a number of classes that simply lack the tools to interact with the metagame the way that those more powerful polarizing heroes can. Again, this isn't interesting. We were billed FaB as a game where being a hero specialist would be rewarded, but quite simply, we were lied to. We aren't rewarded for being hero specialists. Instead, we're subjected to months or years of waiting for metagames to shift for some heroes to see any amount of viability, and for some, they probably never will. Lets say I loved Olympia and I wanted to play Olympia. Well, he was unfinished from the get go (gold was the payoff, remember), and then we got Visit the Golden Anvil, which seems cool, but on it's face is actually detrimental to play, and not to mention, even costly. Not only do you have to buy all these extra Legendaries because of the way the card is designed, but you have to take up sideboard slots to do it, effectively meaning if your armor can't answer the hero you're playing against, you're fucked. (It can't answer Enigma.) There are other examples or under supported heroes. Teklo, Maxx, Betsy, Verdance (Although I'm sure to hear we just haven't found the best build to capitalize on our 3 Earth Wizard cards). The fact that you're willing to dismiss players who want to do this because that's what they were told Flesh and Blood was is demoralizing, and it is dismissive. You keep releasing new heroes in FaB every set and it's all "Who's going to be the next great challenger!?" but there are plenty of great heroes who continue to struggle to this day who are just waiting for you to print them some semblance of support, and to stop printing insanely polarizing illusionists that actively ruin the game for players. Imagine being a Teklo player and you printed Jarl. Jarl's great, but fuck Teklo I guess, he's literally going to have to wait for Jarl to LL to even see play now. What do you intend to do about it? Because all I'm hearing, and I'm sure a lot of other people are is, "Flesh and Blood isn't the game for you." Also, limited is getting better but it still needs improvements, and too many cards and heroes are noticeably dying on the altar of making a good limited format with obviously bad things like Verdance's weapon.
“LSS Lied!” Is a bit dramatic. More like pro-players optimized what they couldn’t seem There’s only so much they can account for when building the game.
@@jeremygardner3183 not really true - LSS can do more to support older heroes, they just don't. That's a choice. They instead decide to keep introducing new heroes because it's 'more exciting'. That's deliberate and has nothing to do with the pros.
@@Lashkor guardian mastery set is a few months away.
@@jeremygardner3183 bold of you to think that Guardian is the only class with issues, and that one mastery set a year is going to fix the problem.. Illusionist has always been a problem and set after set, LSS has failed to give cards to classes to combat it that need it. It is a deliberate failure, as they are well aware of the problem.
Don't agree.
Quality interview. Not the typical bs questions
Y'all asked all the questions that I've been wanting to ask Bryan (especially the "idea-to-reality") and he did not disappoint. What an incredible interview!
Feel free to check out Bryan's article that he mentioned in the video! It’s a fascinating read where he shares his personal thoughts on the design of Magic and some of the missteps he believes they might be making. Definitely take the time to read it-it’s well worth it. Read it here: articles.starcitygames.com/magic-the-gathering/premium/i-just-want-to-love-constructed-magic-again/
This was such an interesting and well done interview, from both sides. I wont get tired of Bryan speaking about Flesh and Blood, TCGs in general, the development process...I also liked him talking about those other things about the grand scheme of life. He has very much the same interests and thoughts about the world as me and he puts those so eloquently in words. Its really a godsend that he became this critical role for Flesh and Blood. Keep it up!
i feel this to my bones! you said what i wanted to say also more eloquently :)
SLAY THE SPIRE MENTIONED 👀👀👀
I cannot find the decklist. I saw you wrote it it in chatt but you do not seems to have posted it here. Do you have a sidedeck guide also?
