Ballast cars would have large, directable chutes to direct the ballast onto the tracks. BTW, you can also see at 1:26 that the first car is labelled "Nur fur Lebensmittel-transporte" -- "Only for food transport".

⁠​⁠@@beeble2003 These aren’t ballast cars, even though they look similar! They’re hopper cars with 5 discharge hoppers and 5 unloading hatches equipped with rotary slides (outlets).

The train is extremely convenient in Switzerland + you can use local public transport in both cities on the same day with the same ticket, making for a great value for money! Regarding the environmental aspect, commercial passenger aviation (excluding private jets), contributes to around 1.6% of global emissions, which is tiny compared to cars with around 12%. However it generally doesn’t really make sense to fly for 230km when the railway is fast and easier to use on that route. The main purpose of this flight is to connect people onwards to other destinations from Zurich Airport, but swiss is recently expanding their Air-Rail cooperation with SBB, meaning that the train might replace this role in near future. 👍 Thanks for your comment! 😃

We already sold busses and trams to europe, electric buses to even japan. I believe in the future we will sell train sets too.
