OKAY, a bit of advice, regarding the upstairs master bedroom, and the attic (the spot you hit with paint thinner in the closet). First, to get it open, you need to scrub the spot with the rag, and that will open the stairway to the attic and loft. What you want to do, in dealing with it, is when you enter the bedroom, you want to seal the door to the hall, then enter the closet, then seal the door between the closet and bedroom. THEN, you can do stuff in the attic. On the way back, you unseal the closet door, enter the main bedroom, then seal the closet door again (BEFORE you open/unseal the hallway door). The seal will transfer from the hallway door, to the closet, and seal up the attic from the rest of the house. THE REASON FOR THIS, is that there's something in the attic that you don't want to follow you into the rest of the house. You'll know what I'm talking about, when you see it.

So, one thing I realized to help with your ammo problem is the loaded hunting rifle you've got. I recall a couple of clips with it. It should serve much the same role as the shotgun--just more precise, and more damaging. Remember to soften enemies up with one big shot [BIG SHOT], then chip them down with the pistol, then try to capture them with the spell. Also, you have the lightning spell--which does instant damage; and the fireball--which does damage over time.

So, now that you know a good few things to do... I'd honestly recommend starting fresh with a new save file, and picking up some helpful things before starting chapter 2. One of which is a spell that seals doors, the other is a fuse that will turn the inside power back on. When's the next stream, btw?

Okay, this time, I couldn't make it to chat because I was at a relative's birthday party. I was able to watch you on my phone. Yeah, last time I said you were actually already close to the end. One thing that kept me from playing all the way through this game was indeed the jank. The sequels are MUCH smoother, and have MUCH more polish--and are also both FREE as well! Hopefully saving & loading will be smoother for you, because there are a few more instant death traps (in cursed 2). They're also both considerably bigger. However, I will double check for them, to see if there's any copyrighted music to worry about. I've seen one LP series that muted some songs, and another LP series that didn't.

It's clear certain themes within this game hit a nerve with you. Why do you play it knowing that these themes are present and then complain about them? Not trying to place blame, but at a certain point it seems counterintuitive to conciously expose yourself to triggering material. This game is classified as a dark comedy and even has content-specific warnings on Steam, so I'm not quite sure what you expected. 🤷
