Did you have any problems obtaining a box in singapore and re boxing your bike at the end of your trip ?
I had to go to three different bicycle shop. The third one gave me a box although somewhat unwillingly. Most bicycles sold in Singapore are folding bikes so there is a bit of shortage of large bike boxes. I would recommend to allow plenty of time to hunt down a free bicycle boxes 📦😂
@@vorsprungoutdoors . Thank you. Love your posts.
Wishing you a good recovery. Thank you for your nice video trying something different to stay active. I ❤️ footbiking. I started out with a Sidewalker Atom. It has a very tall handlebar and wide & long wooden footboard enough to plant both feet together. I consider it the anti-sports scooter scooter, lol. I used it to glide down hills and cruise flat areas. Walking up hills was a nice break. Standing upright with both feet is both stable and relaxed. Sporty scooters design the footboard narrow mostly for one foot. The standing leg feels fatigue first which forces one to switch legs. Also a lower footboard helps the standing leg & overall efficiency as other mentioned. Going slow on a kick scooter is still fun, and you can draw attention & be more visible vs. walking.
@@earthwobbles3534 Thank you for your comment and explanation. I recovered well from a hip replacement and have my full movement back so now I’m back on my normal bike but will keep my kick bike in case my other hip will pack up 😂 I will check out the Sidewalker Atom. Cheers
Weatherspoon's is a great pub, I spent many a happy evening there, after returning home from both on leave and later when I lived aboard. Originally, the Yarbrough Hotel.
I’ve also had many happy visits in different Spoons around the country 😂 🍻
Great video. Come back to our town anytime.❤
Glad you enjoyed the video. 👍
The counterfeit place was more over on Great Ducie Street and not Cheetham Hill Rd..I live just about 1.25miles up the road in Broughton Park. Could not be more different believe me..Then further up Sedgley Park and Prestwich which sure the lady will know.
@@MrTSK27 Lorraine grew up in Broughton Park and knows the area well. Thank you for watching. 👍
Hi, im from grimsby its a depressing place in my opinion and has gone downhill massively the past 15 years, i wouldn't recommend people come here there's far nicer places to go..
It’s interesting to see the fishing heritage and there is such potential to do something with the abandoned historic buildings. 👋
Omg... cycling through the country isn't easy! Keep up the good work!
Thank you, the cycle path infrastructure makes it really enjoyable. 👍👋
I enjoyed watching the riding video, please come again next spring, Yeongsan RiverSeomjingang River, Come see the cherry blossoms.
Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I would like to come back and cycle all the 4 rivers as well as the east coast bicycle path. 👋👍

Congratulation, completed cycling from Japan to South Korea.💪
Thank you, already thinking of another trip 😅
Awesome trip. Very inspiring - already excited to see what´s on next…
Iv read some bad reviews about the osprey apogee, the foot deck being too high and the bike being too heavy, Really like the design though, and the price looks pretty decent
I agree. The handlebar is too low and not adjustable. It’s more a fun product. If you want to do some serious kick biking this is the wrong product. 👋
Another good one , well put together . Really enjoyed the series thanks for sharing .
Thanks for your continued support 🙏👍👋
Parts of the old dock area is indeed being used as a film set. Docks Beers aren't so good, trendy hipster bar, there are better pubs in town.
Good to hear that about the docks. I was impressed about the enthusiastic vibe of the Docks Beer venue.
How do you feel about England the inventors of football having a German manager? 😂
I hope he will do well which would be good for all of us. I remember Jürgen Klinsman‘s success at Tottenham which helped to reduce the anti German stereotypes more than any government campaign could have. 😅
@vorsprungoutdoors Tuchel is a great tactician. Next World cup semis or bust. England have reached 2 Euro finals, a World cup semi and in Qatar should have been in the semis as well as Nations league semis. Our time is due. We are like a fish almost rising to the bait and if a German drives us on to winning the World Cup I just hope there are no Russian linesman like in 1966. 😀
You must have heard of Bert Trautmann. A former German paratrooper who later played in goal for Manchester City and famously broke his neck in the FA Cup final but carried on playing? Incidentally I once flat shared with a German lady in Grimsby. Brilliant company. Nothing romantic but we split the bills and she was very teutonic at doing so. I still laugh at the memories of flat sharing with Claudia but she was a gem.
@@DS-od1kb Interesting story 😂
@@DS-od1kbFingers crossed for England 🤞👍👋
Enjoyed that Grimsby is run down but still a nice place it hasn't had the money invested for a long time. I go to a good auction there every weekend always a bargain and a good laugh with everyone there . Thanks for the video enjoyed seeing other parts of Grimsby .
Glad you enjoyed the video and the auction sounds fun. 👍👋
I really enjoyed the videos. Cycled Seoul to Busan april 2024. Flew to fukuoka and Shinkansen to Onomichi to cycle to Imabari. A city cycle in Osaka and finished with a cycle around Jeju. I rented bikes. After watching your video i buy a bike next, it was cheap at 333 euros.
Thank you for watching. Hoping you will have another great bicycle trip. 👍👋

@@vorsprungoutdoors No, thank YOU. I have so enjoyed following your travels. Are you still travelling?? Have you got to Seoul yet? Actually this is most unlikely given the 00s of kms yet to travel. Look forward to the next posting, and I have finally "subscribed" so it won't be left to chance that I spot any of your posts. Keep posting. And very well done. These are beautifully shot, with lovely music, and even the odd bonus interview with the passers-by of note etc... and should you ever desire a job, I think you might have a calling for an Estate Agent, as you show people around a Japanese house, a hotel room, another hotel room, and yet another, with a tent thrown in for good measure. Seriously I love your coverage. Take care, and bon voyage / Gute Reise!!!
@@SueD-k4xGlad you liked it. I’m currently half way through Korea. ❤
Wow, full respect frined. What a trip. I have very simillar tent as yours ;) Bit smaller. Wish You all the best, good weather, wind from behind and see You somewhere on the way. If you havne't done it yet I strongly recommend trip around the Netherlands. Every biker should go.

Beautiful country and an amazing trip! Please share more about the bicycle you bought! Price, specs. Etc... Thank you!
centurion-bikes.jp/19bikes/crossline30rigid.html I paid 52000Yen wich is €333 I think it’s a very good bike for that price.
@@vorsprungoutdoors It's an amazing price for that bike! Gotta love Japan for such great prices! Still don't understand where did the misconseption of 'expensive Japan' came from...
@@tagmad0033 Prices have stayed the same in Japan for the last 30 years so people who came here in the past it was very expensive.

Looks like you had quite a long walk in Cleethorpes. The Greenwich meridian actually runs through Cleethorpes. If you keep walking straight on from the leisure centre you can't miss it. There is a globe and a plaque and if you find the right spot you are standing at roughly 0.0001 degrees west. Incidentally you visited People's park on a sunday. Not sure if it was open or closed but there is a indoor greenhouse type botanical garden full of plants and cacti from Central and South America. It gets quite warm in there though.
Thank you, more reasons to return to the area 😂
Thank you for posting this video . I use too go too Grimsby and Cleethorpes many years ago when I lived in Louth Lincolnshire about 16 miles away ..please apologises if I got the mileage wrong ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching 👍
If you ask for fish & chips in Grimsby you will automatically get haddock. In the tourist area of Cleethorpes they ask if you want haddock or cod. Reason being a lot of day trippers come from Yorkshire and are more used to cod.
Interesting thank you 👋
You didn't do the museums. The Fishing Heritage centre is great and the one under the Town Hall is also nice. If you'd continued your walk all the way to Tetney, you'd have found a great pub with awesome lunches. However, you summed the place up pretty well.
@@Mayaman67 Thank you for the tips. We have to come back. 👋
Ha ha just ambled onto the docks. Wondered how you did that. Went there as a kid. It was like a small town. The German on the picture was from the film, "The great Escape". I didn't know why it was there until I saw the manager's name - Steve McQueen. He was the actor portrayed in the image.
Oddly enough the guy narrating the video says the docks would be a good place to make a film. Wasn't Atonenment partly filmed there?
Thanks for info. 👍
Its nice you are trying to show the good parts of the town but overall it's a shithole theres no shops open if you want good clothes its the internet or out of town if you want nice food there's probably only 1-2 good places to go so you end up having a day out in hull or lincoln lol there's nothing here literally nothing
Thank you for watching and commenting 👋
Watching film. No one is earning any money, so no one out spending it. Hence a lot of businesses shut.
I agree and also more and more shopping on the internet. 👋
