Soooo, today is Thanksgiving and the real Black Friday is about happen and Cyber Monday in a few days. Im looking for something for my 60 year old wonderful Mother. Shes not like legally deaf or anything and her lack of hearing isnt enough to concern her into seeing a Dr. But, for all for all of us who constantly have to repeat ourselves multiple times and even start yelling a lil bit, it does get frustrating and annoying for everyone. Sooo, what's the difference between these Alpha pros and the regular Alpha hearing aids besides the price? Ive never heard of these before and I can't find any videos to compare the two. I guess I could search Google and read about them, but its not the same as an honest video review to dumb things down for me, lmao.

Would it be possible to use these hearing aids only in situations such as swimming, the beach or any water related activities? I have a pair of prescription hearing aids (not waterproof) and would use the prescription as my primary pair.

I've tried several OTC hearing aides and non of them perform well in noisy environments. How do these perform min noisy environments?

I had a old Mickey Mouse winding alarm clock that had bells and a hammer. I would hang it on the bed post and it would bang around waking me. lol.

I wear hearing aids and have the appearance of someone with special needs. As such, it turns a lot of women off even at nearly 41 after over 20+ years of trying to find someone, I have failed and everyone runs off even at the first sight of me being there.

Hi Emily, I like you also sleep with my hearing aid out LOL . This generally creates a lot of anxiety as my Apple watch doesn't always wake me up as I am in deep sleep. Please advise me on a few things here: 1. Is the vibration strong enough and is it safe to use under the pillow? 2. Do you know of any other products that might help me in this regard? How to adjust our strange voice with hearing aid ?

Recent hours ago I was at the park. People were talking to me like one after another. They were like I hear the first few words and can follow. But then it seems like they’re just rambling and I’m like “yeah”. I can’t lose my hearing. But if not understanding what people say is the extent, that’s pretty good for me. I don’t want to hear all of people’s words anyways. And they were men that I heard. Maybe I don’t have this. Because idk if I can’t hear high pitch sounds.

I was recommended this video once and wow... it must be terrifying, I admire people like you who share these types of experiences. 2 days ago, in the morning, when I was returning from training, I saw a woman of about 35 years or older, who was arranging some flowers in the neighborhood. I just said good morning and continued on my way, but when I heard a scream, I turned around and saw that he was waving his hand. I just went over to see if she was okay and she told me that a yellow wasp had stung her... I only stayed by her side for a few minutes and offered her water, but suddenly she started to turn red, and she was scratching her neck a lot, She described to me what she was feeling and I remembered what you mentioned in this video. My hearing loss is rated moderate to severe, with most loss at the higher frequencies. You say your loss is also moderate to severe. I'm trying to assess is if the Beyond device will work for me. Did you spend any extended time using the Beyond to determine how well it actually might work for your situation?

I wish as a Pakistani deaf student this is needed to my lecturer and assistant

I’ve owned both and the beyond’s are so much better. I have tinnitus this feature works great. I do however have Bluetooth connectivity issues when I step away from my phone. ELEHEAR is a great company and great service and app updates that make the experience much better.

For dessication you can also use they little packets that come in food and vitamin bottles and stuff them all in a jar with your HAs (ask me how I know), and you could get a power inverter to put a house and USB plugs in your car and charge them that way. As for transcription, if it's a message from Biden or Harris, just eat a bowl of alphabet soup and take a dump and the message would be just as clear.

I carry a NoCo 1k amp jump box for every car I own. Its in my backpack when I ride off road, dirt bike or truck. Side benefit is it charges my aids which is my last thing I will charge in an emergency. I just ran into this doing relief work in w/NC. where I was gone several days at a time.
