Brother. I hear you loud and clear. Those were the times. I was in Grade 9/Standard 7 when my mother allowed me to go to house music shows but I had to be home between 22H00 and 00H00 everytime until I completed my Matric in 2005. From 2003 to 2005 I would listen to Motsweding FM during the times of Dj Kabelo Molopyane & Chris Matshaba over the weekends while practicing Mathematics HG and Physical Science HG. The were four notable local Djs who influenced me around Kuruman and Vryburg areas respectively. They were known as DJ Y2K, DJ Gareth, DJ Siphiwe and DJ Lorenzo. I remember this time period where Mahoota's Compilation Album was out. I would rush to be first on our School Transport(A Toyota Venture) at the time, to listen to @ Michael Gray - The Weekend and Tom Novy-I don't want nobody every morning while that album topped the charts. Back then Soul Candi was Killin it. Gone are the good old days but I wish that kind of music can be back in style. I also happen to be an Electronic Dance Music Fan, and I can tell you that the ELECTRO genre is definitely going back to their old style of production , check out ARMIN VAN BUUREN'S A state of Trance music show and Paul Van Dyk's music shows. They are going back to the old production style of Progressive and Trance music. Peace My guy ❤️👊🏽🙏.
