Interesting, I have had half a dozen trucks since 2000 with the 5.3 and I have never had a motor issue with any of mine

@@buickgmcofwoodbridge6023 I'm in livery business, the 6.2 out performs and outlasts the 5.3 The 5.3 don't have the extra coolers to keep em running cool. I drove a few yukon Denalis ive had over 400,000 miles worry free. I guess for the everyday person who wont be running the vehicle 8-10 hrs straight the 5.3 is OK, but I highly recommend ponying up for the 6.2

I read that later in 2021 they will be putting 6.2 in the AT4 and the Chevy Tahoe Z71.

@@kevinstrang11 I have to disagree with you there sir, I drive a police Tahoe for work with the 5.3 V8 and share it with another officer on a different shift, the 5.3 is a workhorse of a motor and is constantly ran for 16 or sometimes 20 hours a day most of the week. Never had any cooling issues. It could you use a power boost though, I will say that.

Currently the wait time is 8-12 weeks depending on the equipment you would like on the Yukon.

The air suspension was not available at model launch so we have not received one yet but I would imagine it will make a significant difference off-road with the ability to raise the Yukon 2 inches. I am not sure how much of a difference it will actually make in the ride quality though.

@@buickgmcofwoodbridge6023 Thanks for reply. I was thinking more or less the same thing. Definitely worth it for off roading but regular driving may not be enough of a difference to be worth the expensive repair costs in the future. I have the 21 denali wiht out the air, it was available at the time I ordered but I opted out.

At the SLE level the Yukon and Suburban are very similar. The main differences are cosmetic. As you move up in trim to the Denali the differences are much more pronounced between the two. As to the 2020 vs the 2021 there are almost no similarities between the two other than they are close in size. The 2021 has an all-new independent rear suspension system that makes the interior much roomier in 3rd row and all the seats are significantly upgraded in comfort.

They start at $72K for the Denali and go up to the mid eighties depending on how it is equipped.

No Massage seat options? Bummer. Otherwise it came a long way from the previous generation

It does have an adaptive cruise control and will come to a complete stop with traffic autonomously but it does not automatically detect traffic lights. There are several driver assits technologies built into it but it is not designed to drive completely autonomously in the vein of a Tesla Model X.
