And I thought New England gnar was awful. How was the Ripmo to navigate through the slower speed/no flow tech? Too long/low/slack? How are pedal strikes through the rocks?

4:30 That's so sketchy and way more steep/off camber then it looks on your camera. One pedal strike on the uphill side and you're taking a tumble pel mel.

Final decision: ibis ripmo v2. .... looking at Orbea Rallon, but not in the mood for waiting until the end of summer. Compared these two beasts, and I think Rip V2 is the one. Great vid. Sold me with letting the bike talk.
